Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX-2 is to be kept in the same location as this file, and is to be treated as any other file. If any copy of SCP-XXX-2 is made, this file is to be copied alongside it so that minimal confusion follows the reading of SCP-XXX-2
Description: SCP-XXX-2 appears to be a normal file containing information on SCP-XXX. If read, however, the reader quickly loses interest in reading after the first three words: “Are You RUD?” after reading these words, the person will stop caring about SCP-XXX-2, or even develop distain towards it, until it is closed. Once closed, the person will regain their senses. If SCP-XXX-2 is opened again, the same process will happen, sometimes taking only one or two words before the person experiences the effects. If read from any other point besides the beginning, the reader will not be able to focus, and will stare blankly at SCP-XXX-2 until it is removed from their vision. SCP-XXX-2 can be copied via mechanical means; however the effects will transfer over to these copies. Attempts to transfer SCP-XXX-2 into an audio format have not been fruitful, as similar effects are brought onto the listener, often resulting in them turning it off or losing focus and becoming unable to understand the words. Tests are ongoing to figure out a way to read SCP-XXX-2, as besides its existence, there are no records of SCP-XXX.¹²
