Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5982 is to be contained within a 10m x 4m secure holding cell at all times at Site-27, with at least four bright lights flashing upon the entity at all times, with backup lights ready in case the ones in the chamber go malfunction. During the event of replacement, no less than four Class D personnel are to shine flashlights directly on SCP-5982. SCP-5982's containment chamber is to be constantly monitored by no less than two armed guards at all times. Under no circumstances is SCP-5982 allowed to communicate with any foundation personnel. In the event of a containment breach, full site lockdown is to commence immediately. SCP-5982 appears to be completely immune to any form of gunfire. The only way to subdue the entity seems to be the use of immense amounts of light, as it seems to bring the entity pain. Protocol states that mtf personnel are to shine immensely bright flashlights at SCP-5982, and it will cause the entity to go into a state of agony and shock, often bellowing in pain and begging to stop being tortured. SCP-5982 has been shown to surrender quickly to this tactic. Once said subject is subdued, it is to be transported back to it's containment chamber by no less than three mtf personnel or armed guards with it's hands cuffed with flashlights shining on the entity to keep it in line. What exactly light does to SCP-5982 and why this result occurs is currently unknown.
Description: SCP-5982 appears to be a humanoid figure approximately 1.10 meters tall. Subject appears to be clad in dark armor, with no skeletal structure underneath. SCP-5982 also has a black ripped up cape running down it's back. SCP-5982 also has the ability to summon a jagged black sword, approximately 1.2 meters in length, and a large black shield from thin air. SCP-5982 has been noted to be very manipulative and intelligent. Subject is fully capable of speaking English, but SCP-5982 has also been observed speaking in a completely unknown language, Subject claims it is the language of its native species. SCP-5982 has also been observed to have the ability to shape-shift on multiple occasions, as well as speak to foundation personnel telepathically, sometimes in it's own voice, other times morphing it's voice to mimic that of someone the person knows, also hinting at a possible ability to read minds. SCP-5982 has also shown to be capable of some form of telekinesis. Any attempts to give in to SCP-5982's manipulation by any personnel will result in the manipulated person being restrained and removed from the containment chamber. SCP-5982 claims that the world is a broken and dying land, and that he is the only one capable of having dominion over it. What SCP-5982 means by any of this is currently unknown. Questioning the entity about it has just lead to obscure answers that give us know clues as to what it is talking about. SCP-5982 will sometimes attempt to lure personnel into its chamber with manipulation tactics. If they fall for its trap and approach it, SCP-5982 will attempt to kill the victim in one fashion or another. Once the victim is dead, SCP-5982 will kneel beside the body, and place its hand on it for about two hours. During this process, the corpse will become shrouded in darkness, and will rise again as an instance of
SCP-5982-2. These instances are typically incredibly aggressive towards humans, but can be terminated by means of gunfire, unlike SCP-5982.
SCP-5982 seems to be in severe pain when in contact with bright lights. When questioned about this, entity seemed to get irritated, but it theorized that it causes a burning sensation of sorts in its body.
