Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: A 6.5 meter tall wall with a surveillance system was erected ten kilometers away from the border of SCP-XXXX. Signing indicate that this marks a government testing site are on this wall to discourage citizens from entering. Site-██ has been erected just inside the wall for research on SCP-xxxx. Interaction with SCP-xxxx-A group is to be kept at a minimum, except for testing purposes. No one is to enter SCP-xxxx or SCP-xxxx-C without approval from a lead researcher and a class V mental transmission blocker.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a town located in southern New Mexico. It is ██ kilometers away from any other settlement, excluding SCP-xxxx-C. There are no roads to SCP-xxxx. SCP-xxxx-B is the collective term for the citizens of this town. SCP-xxxx-B-01 is the term for a specific citizen, with the 01 changing to another number based on the citizen.
People seem to be repulsed by the town, and will avoid it whenever possible. However, once people go inside the town’s borders, they are compelled to stay. This does not seem to be accomplished via any kind of mind-alteration effects. Instead probability seems to change so that people have a strong incentive to stay. This usually takes the form of a lover, a new job, or something similar.
Almost all members of SCP-xxxx-A show at least one anomalous property. These properties vary widely from citizen to citizen, and can be anything. In addition to this, new structures, occurrences, and events happen almost daily in SCP-xxxx. These also seem to be able to be any any form, with most disappearing, or being solved within the day, but some never seem to dissipate to ‘normal’. These anomalies have been given the designation SCP-xxxx-B
No members of SCP-xxxx-A seem to think SCP-xxxx is out of the ordinary. It is currently unknown whether this is due to a lack of contact with the outside world, and a resulting belief that their town is normal, or due to some property of SCP-xxxx.
SCP-xxxx-C is a nearby town, also anomalous. The citizens of this town are SCP-xxxx-D collectively, and SCP-xxxx-D-xx individually. SCP-xxxx-D members seem to be obsessed with “productivity” ,meeting quotas for strex,” and “a smiling god. ” it is not known what ‘strex’ means. All equipment used for work in SCP-xxxx-C is covered in blood. When dna tested, the results seem to suggest that this blood was from ordinary humans, but none of which are in any known data-base
SCP-xxxx-C does not seem to have the same random anomalies of SCP-xxxx, but every SCP-xxxx-D member looks almost identical to a SCP-xxxx-B member. SCP-xxxx-B members refer to SCP-xxxx as ‘██████████’ and SCP-xxxx-D members refer to SCP-xxxx-C as ‘█████ █████’.
SCP-xxxx is governed by a secret police, led by ‘the sheriff,’ as well as a mayor, and a city council. SCP-xxxx-A members seem to be completely aware of, and unconcerned by, the fact that the government has bugged every structure in town.
The foundation was made aware of SCP-xxxx’s existance when a large earthquake was deteced, with the epicenter being SCP-xxxx’s location. We now know this to be a result of SCP-xxxx-E-02. Dr.Carl █████ was dispatched to investigate, but he stopped responding after a 1 week. We now know this is due to his relationship with SCP-xxxx-B-01, which he refuses to leave.

Significant current anomalies, and significant previous anomalies are listed below, with the designation SCP-xxxx-E-xx:
