Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: A 6.5 meter tall wall with a surveillance system was erected ten kilometers away from the border of SCP-XXXX. Signing indicate that this marks a government testing site are on this wall to discourage citizens from entering. Site-██ has been erected just inside the wall for research on SCP-xxxx. Interaction with SCP-xxxx-A group is to be kept at a minimum, except for testing purposes. No one is to enter SCP-xxxx or SCP-xxxx-C without approval from a lead researcher and a class V mental transmission blocker.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a town located in southern New Mexico. It is ██ kilometers away from any other settlement, excluding SCP-xxxx-C. There are no roads to SCP-xxxx. SCP-xxxx-B is the collective term for the citizens of this town. SCP-xxxx-B-01 is the term for a specific citizen, with the 01 changing to another number based on the citizen.
People seem to be repulsed by the town, and will avoid it whenever possible. However, once people go inside the town’s borders, they are compelled to stay. This does not seem to be accomplished via any kind of mind-alteration effects. Instead probability seems to change so that people have a strong incentive to stay. This usually takes the form of a lover, a new job, or something similar.
Almost all members of SCP-xxxx-A show at least one anomalous property. These properties vary widely from citizen to citizen, and can be anything. In addition to this, new structures, occurrences, and events happen almost daily in SCP-xxxx. These also seem to be able to be any any form, with most disappearing, or being solved within the day, but some never seem to dissipate to ‘normal’. These anomalies have been given the designation SCP-xxxx-B
No members of SCP-xxxx-A seem to think SCP-xxxx is out of the ordinary. It is currently unknown whether this is due to a lack of contact with the outside world, and a resulting belief that their town is normal, or due to some property of SCP-xxxx.
SCP-xxxx-C is a nearby town, also anomalous. The citizens of this town are SCP-xxxx-D collectively, and SCP-xxxx-D-xx individually. SCP-xxxx-D members seem to be obsessed with “productivity” ,meeting quotas for strex,” and “a smiling god. ” it is not known what ‘strex’ means. All equipment used for work in SCP-xxxx-C is covered in blood. When dna tested, the results seem to suggest that this blood was from ordinary humans, but none of which are in any known data-base
SCP-xxxx-C does not seem to have the same random anomalies of SCP-xxxx, but every SCP-xxxx-D member looks almost identical to a SCP-xxxx-B member. SCP-xxxx-B members refer to SCP-xxxx as ‘██████████’ and SCP-xxxx-D members refer to SCP-xxxx-C as ‘█████ █████’.
SCP-xxxx is governed by a secret police, led by ‘the sheriff,’ as well as a mayor, and a city council. SCP-xxxx-A members seem to be completely aware of, and unconcerned by, the fact that the government has bugged every structure in town.
The foundation was made aware of SCP-xxxx’s existance when a large earthquake was deteced, with the epicenter being SCP-xxxx’s location. We now know this to be a result of SCP-xxxx-E-02. Dr.Carl █████ was dispatched to investigate, but he stopped responding after a 1 week. We now know this is due to his relationship with SCP-xxxx-B-01, which he refuses to leave.
Significant current anomalies, and significant previous anomalies are listed below, with the designation SCP-xxxx-E-xx:
Description: A local dog park which no one is allowed inside. Members of SCP-xxxx-B do not question this. There are tall obsidian walls blocking entrance to the dog park. Attempts to enter via drone have resulted in loss of signal. Attempt to enter while wearing mental dampener using rappelling equipment have resulted in success. Inside of SCP-xxxx-E-01 there are metal trees, and an oak door, slightly cracked open. This door is not connected to any structure. Inside the oak door is a house. The house is mostly empty, except for a few pictures of lighthouses. When the door to this house was opened, it appeared to lead to an endless desert. When foundation personnel exited the house, the door shut behind them. At this point, scranton reality anchors were engaged, and foundation personnel returned to the dog park. They then repelled back out. Further expeditions have yet to be mounted.
Date of origin: June 15, 2012.
Description: Earthquakes with a magnitude ranging from 2 to 12 on the Richter scale. Instances of SCP-xxxx-E-02 are emitted from SCP-xxxx almost constantly. These earthquakes have no effect on anything but seismographs.
Date of origin: Unknown
Description: A glowing cloud. This cloud seems to be conscious and sapient. It emits a memetic effect that causes nearby humans to ‘hail the glow cloud.’ it has used this power to become president of the school board. it seems to cause animals of increasing mass and volume to fall from the sky when it is agitated. An illustration made by D-09864 after exposure to the clow cloud is picture. The picture was viewed via camera, which appears to make it safe to view, and D-09864 was administered an amnesiac, shortly afterword. His desire to ‘hail the glow cloud left upon administration of said amnesiac.
Date of origin: july 1, 2012.

Description: a sandstorm. This sandstorm traveled through both SCP-xxxx, and SCP-xxxx-C. It seems to have hit nowhere else. When structures were hit by SCP-xxxx-E-04, it created portals from SCP-xxxx to SCP-xxxx-C. If these portals were traveled through, they led to the equivalent building in the other town.
Date of origin: March 15, 2013.
Date of ending: March 15, 2013.
Description: A dilation of time. Time in SCP-xxxx seems to be almost 14 hours displaced per week, meaning each week is 14 hours longer than the last. The clocks in SCP-xxxx seem to adjust for this automatically.
