Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4228 is to be contained within a gated perimeter, no closer than 15m away from the edge of SCP-4228. Any changes to the number of SCP-4228-A are to be reported immediately. Personal are not to enter SCP-4228 without permission of Doctor [Redacted], exhibition teams must remain in constant contact with the overseeing individuals and must not proceed any further than 20 meters into SCP-4228 under any circumstances.

Description: SCP-4228 is a forest located in [Redacted], Germany, occupying an area of 1.3km². The forest consists of tree like structures, SCP-4228-A, with a height of up to [Redacted] meters. All samples of SCP-4228-A appear to be covered in dried out skin that resembles bark of an oak tree, testing indicates that various samples of the bark contain the genetic material of various species native to the area, including human.

SCP-4228 was discovered after a number of missing persons reports was investigated by the foundation in 00/00/1987. Upon investigation Team [Redacted] entered SCP-4228 until contact was lost
