SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside of a metal box, inside of a Safe Object Locker located in Site 77s storage facility. This locker is to be padlocked with a code only available to those with Security Level Four Clearance involved with SCP-XXXX. Access to SCP-XXXX outside of scheduled testing is not permitted without at least two Security Level Four Clearance Personnel's Permission.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a restraining order document, modified to be as simple as possible, the document itself has a title of "Restraining Order", as well as four sections to fill out. "1: Protected Person", "2: Restrained Person", "3: Distance Restrained" and "4: Length of time Restrained". When all four of these sections are filled out and the document placed down, an invisible barrier appears around the protected person, this barrier only exists for the Restrained Person(s), and anyone else may pass by it with no side effects. All attempts to penetrate this barrier have been met with failure, This includes if the Restrained Person is unaware of the restraining order.
Extraneous testing has been removed, for a full list please access Document 1A/XXXX
Test 1 - Date: 01/05/2023
Subject(s):
D-10234 and D-5647
Procedure:
D-10234 was instructed to fill in his name, and D-5647's name, put the distance to 1 metre and the time to 10 minutes. D-5647 instructed to attempt to approach D-10234
Results:
Upon completion, the writing on the document disappeared. When D-5647 attempted to approach D-10234, he was stopped exactly 1 metres away. After ten minutes had passed, D-5647 could successfully bypass the barrier.
Notes:
SCP-XXXX adheres to our units of measurements. Baseline effects will be established over the next few tests - Researcher Weller
Test 6 - Date: 14/05/2023
Subject(s):
D-14523 and D-10032
Procedure:
D-14523 and D-10032 enter a 5 metre x 5 metre x 5 metre room. D-14523 instructed to put his name in as protected person, and D-10032's name as restrained person. The distance was set at 5 metres and the time for 10 minutes.
Results:
Upon completion the writing on the document disappeared. D-10032 is expelled into the wall of the room. After approximating 3 minutes and 47 seconds, D-10032 suffocates and expires.
Notes:
D-10032 was confirmed to die from suffocation, theorized to be due to the invisible barrier and the wall choking her. Despite witnessing the event, D-14523 reports feeling safer now that she's gone. - Researcher Weller
Test 7 - Date: 16/05/2023
Subject(s):
D-8734 and D-9126
Procedure:
Both D-Class walk into the same room as previous test, now repaired. As usual, D-8734 is to mark down her name and then D-9126's name. The distance is set at 100 metres, and the time for indefinite.
Results:
Upon completion, the writing on the document disappeared. D-9126 was repelled from D-8734 at speeds of 20KM/H. The wall of the room was destroyed and D-9126 successfully landed at the distance of 100 metres away, and then immediately taken into medical care. Currently comatose.
Notes:
The distance away seems to affect the speed of which the person is repelled. Further unnecessary tests should be done outdoors. We do not need to unnecessarily use them. - Researcher Weller
Test 16 - Date: 10/06/2023
Subject(s):
D-7163
Procedure:
D-7163 is instructed to put their name for both options, the distance to 3 metres and the time to be 10 seconds.
Results:
Immediately upon completion, the writing from the document fades. D-7163 is about to open their mouth before their body splits into two, repelling off each other 1.5 metres away (totalling 3 metres). After 10 seconds were up, the sides were allowed to interact, however no reported lifesigns from D-7163 were noted.
Notes:
Upon weighing each side, each were found to weigh approximately 39.5kg, half of D-7163s weight. - Researcher Weller
Test 20 - Date: 20/06/2023
Subject(s):
D-4892 and D-2333
Procedure:
D-4892 puts his name down as protected person, and D-2333's name as restrained person. Distance was set to 10cm and time to 1 hour. D-4892 was then instructed to give a piggyback ride to D-2333. Afterwards, while D-2333 is on D-4892's back, he is instructed to re-do the procedure by putting the distance as ten metres.
Results:
Due to the limited distance set, D-4892 was successfully able to get close to D-2333 to give a piggyback ride. Due to the barrier, D-4892 reported not feeling any weight. D-2333 was able to stand upright with no ill effects. Upon re-adjusting the distance, D-2333 was shot up into the sky, allowing them to run around on this barrier within the sky.
Notes:
This barrier seems to be strong enough to carry a human being, could be useful to get to high places, or give the illusion of floating. - Researcher Weller
Test 23 - Date: 25/06/2023
Subject(s):
D-6345 and D-10234
Procedure:
D-6345 was instructed to put in the names as usual, and put the distance as the symbol Pi, with the term being indefinite.
Results:
D-6345 broke protocol and instead put the distance as 100000000000000 kilometres (or 100 trillion). D-10234 was repelled at a speed of ████KM/H, leading to the deaths of D-10234 and 71 research personnel, aswell as an unknown amount of civilians in addition to the containment breach of █ SCPs.
Notes:
Although attempts were made to force D-6345 to change the distance on the document, he refused. Security guards tasered D-6345 under fear of him using SCP-XXXX to escape. All witnesses to D-10234s corpse before launch into the atmosphere were amnesticized and a cover story of a small meteor was developed. - Researcher Weller
