Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept with doors locked at all times when not being studied. Anyone wishing to obtain access to SCP-XXXX must have Level 3 security clearance or higher or with special permission from a relevant Containment Specialist. Several security cameras have been added to SCP-XXXX since the events of SCP-XXXX-30
Description: SCP-XXXX is an approximately three (3) meter by three (3) meter hollowed cuboid composed of an unidentified grey steel. Further testing has proven it to be composed of [DATA EXPUNGED]. Affixed to one side of SCP-XXXX is a wide gate, approximately 2 meters by 1 meters in size, SCP-XXXX-01. SCP-XXXX-01 appears to be composed of a transparent, glass-like material. Testing on SCP-XXXX-01 has proven it to be indestructible using any known forces. Noises or movements from within SCP-XXXX are apparently observable from the exterior of SCP-XXXX without the use of security cameras.
SCP-XXXX is equipped with a lever on its exterior, SCP-XXXX-02. The lever does not appear to be connected to any other devices. Upon flipping SCP-XXXX-02, the gravity specific to SCP-XXXX changes its direction. Upon study by Professor ███, the disruption with gravitational forces seems to have no impact on the space-time continuum.
Discussions of changing SCP-XXXX’s class to Thaumiel and using it to contain other specimens (SCP-682 for example) have arisen. An interview with Professor ████ follows about the discussions.
Interviewed: Professor ████
Interviewer: ████
Foreword: An interview with Professor ████ about the effects of using SCP-XXXX to contain other specimens
<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Hello professor. Is there a reason that SCP-XXXX is listed under the class of >"Safe" instead of "Thaumiel"?
Person: Indeed there is. After SCP-XXXX-30 and other such events, there is no way
Interviewer: What about using it as a containment for humans?Person: Once again, there is no way of predicting the effects of SCP-XXXX over long periods of time. Any time at all that anyone or anything is exposed to SCP-XXXX is a potential hazard, and as such, there will be no exposure of SCP-XXXX to any unauthorized citizens.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Professor.
<End Log>Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX will not be converted to a Thaumiel due to the unknown effects of its gravitational disruptions.
