Item #: SCP-5743
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5743 is currently contained in a 10x10x5 rubber lined bunker below the floor of Site-88. The bunker is sealed from the outside with a string of codes needed to unlock one entrance/exit. Once the door to the bunker is closed, it will be sealed on the inside leaving no seam or lines. If approached, use of a full rubber suit is required.
Description: SCP-5743 is a humanoid creature with elongated limbs and extremities with a slender figure. It is often seen slouched over with its hands together looking around feverishly as if being watched. Around this creature strange things appear to happen. Things include house objects and even buildings lifting off the ground a few feet then falling back to Earth. Things like clocks ticking faster or slower in different areas and people aging differently are also shown to happen near SCP-5743. This is only happenings recorded while SCP-5743 has been docile. It is speculated that when angry SCP-5743 could level skyscrapers and mess with time itself. Researchers believe that SCP-5743 uses it's mind to manipulate what ever it feels to its own gain. However, SCP-5743 has a weakness in that it's powers or irregularities are weakened severally by rubber. The rubber is suspected to slip in the mind of SCP-5743 causing it to not be able to manipulate it in any form. This method does, when surrounded by rubber, dull the mind of the creature to where it is not able to use it's abilities, however it is still able to sense the presence of other entities.
