Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx should be contained with other of the flashlight's kind, but should still be within it's own cabinet at least 2mx2m, otherwise the flashlight has no specific containment procedures.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a flashlight, approximately 90mm in length, manufactured under the name of [REDACTED], along with other of the flashlight's kind, however, this is the first recorded to posses anmolous qualities.

SCP-xxxx

SCP-xxxx can produce a light that can see any human's darkest secret(s), in the form of their soul cast by the lights shadow. The soul would perform the task or action of which the subject claims to be their darkest secret(s). These secrets would span from minor theft to [REDACTED]. SCP-xxxx would shutdown if an external light source was on in the vicinity of SCP-xxxx.

On occasion, SCP-xxxx can cause severe mental trauma and even send someone into a comatose state, of which they can not wake up from.

Addendum - History: SCP-xxxx was manufactured and designed by a man named [REDACTED], who has recently died. His close relatives and friends were offered something each as to his will. His oldest daughter, [DATA EXPUNGED], was offered everything that was currently within the confines of his attic. She was inspecting what was there until she came across an old storage cabinet. The cabinet contained many flashlights. She was confused as to why they were all there, and why he had so many. After some investiating, she found a blueprint for what seemed to be a flashlight, however there was something to it that she couldn't understand. It was designed to serve some sort of purpose, however the purpose is currently unknown, as the blueprint has faded due to age. The Foundation came and investigated as soon as they heard, thus discovering SCP-xxxx
