Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5874 is to be kept in a standard containment cell monitored at all times by a minimum of four (4) guards, each armed with a single barrel shotgun, loaded with .33 calibre buckshot.
In the case of an object/organism emerging from SCP-5874, the object/organism is to be immediately placed in containment cell with of size logical for the object/organism. Should the object/organism breach containment, it is to be terminated by any means possible.
Access requires the approval of two (2) Level-2 authorized personnel or higher.
Description: SCP-5874 takes the visual appearance of an elongated pentagonal bi-pyramid, approximately one (1) metre across, and two (2) metres vertically, consisting of a viscous pink material.
The object levitates approximately 5cm above the floor of the containment cell.
Addendum 4874-A: A D-Class, upon being sent into the containment cell of SCP-5874 was instructed to place two (2) hands onto two (2) separate faces of SCP-5874. Once this was completed, the D-Class seemingly disappeared.
Six (6) hours and fifteen (15) minutes after the disappearance of the D-Class, a pink, rectangular object emerged from SCP-5874, the object having a size of 5x7x2 centimetres. Upon recovery and investigation of the object, it was determined to be comprised of Nitrile Rubber. After being cut along the middle of one of its faces, the object begins to secrete a milky white substance from the cut. This substance was found to contain traces of human flesh and small fragments of fabric. The composition of the substance has yet to be identified.
