Description: SCP-5972 is a triad of rail spikes. All three specimen were discovered in [REDACTED], Turkey. SCP-5973 consists of an iron exterior. The interior of SCP-5972 contains a functional bodily system, including a stomach, Lungs, and a heart. The internal organs of SCP-5972 are genetically identical to that of a humans. Of the three specimens, one was discovered dead. Use of a D-Class personal revealed that upon contact with SCP-5972, a sharp pain will be felt throughout the body approximately 1-2 hours after first contact. Within 7 hours after contact, the subjects skin will begin to turn solid, leading to paralysis. After 10 hours, the subject was completely encased in iron. Attempts to remove the subject from the iron proved futile. SCP-5972's outer layer of iron responds very fast to liquid, leading to them to start rusting. This reaction is likely the cause of death for SCP-5972-3. The resident of the home where all three instances of SCP-5972 were discovered was found dead. The iron that coated the man rusted away entirely, causing his body to [REDACTED].
