Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is contained in a room in Site-██. The room is three (3) by six (6) by three (3) metres. SCP-XXXX-2 shall be kept in a standard dice tray in a way that it may be rolled freely, the dice tray(as well as SCP-XXXX-2) shall be kept outside SCP-XXXX-A at all times so that testing may be done without activating SCP-XXXX's effect.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a glyph made up by a commissioned artist(see: chat log-2), printed on a piece of wallpaper, which disappears after 1-6 minutes before returning to its usual place in Site-██. SCP-XXXX-2 is a yellow standard 6-sided dice, the numbers are in an "occult" looking type face. When SCP-XXXX-1 disappears it will instantly reappear in a random spot in any non-anomalous location currently controlled by the Foundation. When a subject enters a three (3) metre radius circle centred on SCP-XXXX-1(the area is designated SCP-XXXX-A) a random anomalous effect will occur(see: chat log-3), after the effect has occurred no other effects will occur upon entering SCP-XXXX-A until dawn the next day. Whenever SCP-XXXX-1 disappears SCP-XXXX-2 will "roll itself", the result of the dice roll is the amount of minutes it will take before SCP-XXXX-1 returns to its containment, after which the dice will roll again to determine how many minutes before SCP-XXXX-1 will re-disappear. It should be noted that when SCP-XXXX-1 disappears its area of effect is negated, for instance, going near SCP-XXXX-1 after it has disappeared or entering its containment chamber both yield no results.
SCP-XXXX came into The Foundation's notice following its discovery in Dr. █████ office before it disappeared again, SCP-XXXX-1 was found later in what is assumed to be it's main creator's house. The house, however, was found with no-one inside. The house was abandoned. Inside it, though, The Foundation were able to find a laptop, from which the chat logs were acquired.
Attempts at tracing the other person's IP address proved fruitless. -Head of IT
