SCP-0000 with the Queen of Hearts

Item #: SCP-0000

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-000 poses no serious threat, it can simply be locked away in a secured lockbox. It currently resides in containment facility 3██, and may be removed from this location only by the direct order of a personnel member with at least a level 3 security clearance.

Description: With a passing glance SCP-0000 appears to be an ordinary deck of playing cards. Upon further inspection the deck is clearly of singular design. While the card backs are a simple repeated pattern, like the backs you might see on any deck of cards, the card fronts are unique, and quite distinct.

Rather than the usual symmetric depiction of symbols or faces, these cards picture a female hand, holding up a playing card between her index and middle fingers. A sort of “card within a card”. The card the hand is holding has a number or letter at its center, and a suite symbol in two of its corners. Above the hand, the name of the card appears in French, in a faint, but neatly scrawled handwriting. The card fronts appear to have been hand drawn.
In addition to its strange appearance, the deck has a very specific property. When SCP-0000 is shuffled and dealt, the cards revealed appear in the same order, every time.

The order is as follows.
Q = Queen, K = King, J = Jack, A = Ace,
D = Diamond, S = Spade, C = Club, H = Heart

QD 4S 9C 10C KH 2C 8S AH 10S 10D 3D 5S 8C 5H 8H JD 7H 3S 9S 3H 6S 2S JS 8D 5D 7D 6S QS 4D QC AD JC 9D 5C 4H QH 3C 2H 4C 2D 6H JH 9H KD AC 7S 6D KS 10H AS KC 7C

Analysis: The probability of this specific order being dealt with any standard deck of 52 cards, is 1 in 52! (52 Factorial), or 1 in 8.0658175170943878571660636856404e+67

When the deck was first brought in, Dr. A██████ choose to test the deck several times to ensure its validity.

The deck was tested 10 times, using a variety of shuffling techniques, and multiple different individuals to perform the shuffling, and dealing. All tests produced the same order regardless of whether the card is drawn from the top, or bottom of the deck. If there were no special properties associated with this deck, the chance of this happening is almost as close to zero as possible.

Item History: The deck was secured from the possession of an up and coming magician, named S███ R██████, who used the deck in his performances. By memorizing the decks pattern, he was able to always determine the card his volunteers pulled, regardless of how much they shuffled the deck.

When the deck was confiscated from the magician, he confessed to the Field Agent responsible for its retrieval, that the deck was originally procured from a distant family member named B████ R████ who used the deck to run underground poker games. (SCP Agents are currently looking into the relative, to determine the decks origin)
