Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: [SCP-4476 to be contained in an 100 m by 100 m concrete wall, guards are to be stationed on top of the wall at all times, and under no circumstances, should any staff of level 3 or lower (minus D-class) be allowed in unless under specialized supervision and with the Director's allowance. Any appearances of SCP-4476-A all the way of to Z should be eliminated immediately, and incinerated on sight, any SCP variations that appear in the enclosed space that have not been identified before, should be reported to all high ranking staff, level 5 and higher, and increased guard activity is to be enacted. At no point should any guards attempt communication, in any way towards newly created variants. SCP-4476 is to have a total of 7 D-class personnel in the space at all times, (less is acceptable, but more likely to have problems in the future).]

Description: [SCP-4476 is described as "Purgatory" by many religious texts, though analysis so far has been inconclusive as to whether these have any meaning at all towards what SCP-4476 truly is. SCP-4476 is a small japanese reflective pool about 80 cm (35 inches rounded up) deep, SCP-4476 does not have any distinct figures in it, though it has been recorded as giving off a feeling of dread, or fear of some type. The are the usual things that are generally seen in other Japanese reflective pools, fish in the water, moss, old bridges that show no signs of deterioration. Though the strangest part about SCP-4476 is as follows; though the pool is 80 cm deep, there D-class have shown many times during experiments that they are able to fully submerge themselves in the water, though this has forthright been fought against doing as the ones that have fully submerged themselves have had trouble coming back up, there have been multiple SCP-4476 variants that have appeared outside the water of the pool, these variants have so far been very hostile. SCP-4476 variants have been depicted as the following: giant bulbous humanoids, with large bent canines that jut out of their mouths, and red skin, inhuman like appendages like tails, horns, and claws have also been sighted. ]
