Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 5m x 5m x 5m vacuum soundproof heavy containment cell in site-144. Personnel guarding SCP-XXXX must have soundproof gear, and Foundation issued earmuffs must be stationed around area-144.¹

In the event of a containment breach of SCP-XXXX, personnel are advised to equip the earmuffs around site-144.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a dark green genderless entity measuring approximately 2.3m standing height. SCP-XXXX vaguely resembles a human but lacks legs. Instead, four (4) humanoid arms protrude from each side of the entity, providing a total of eight (8) arms.

SCP-XXXX can move at up to 10m/s on any flat surface. The entity breaths loudly and somewhat slowly. Despite this, SCP-XXXX does not require oxygen or food. SCP-XXXX tissue seems to have been torn off around its lips. Its eyes lack a pupil and measure 5cm in diameter. SCP-XXXX has the ability to regenerate any portion of its body, although slowly.

SCP-XXXX has the ability to severely impair humans and other organisms. First, the jaw of SCP-XXXX opens 90 degrees while sounding a raspy groan. If any personnel find SCP-XXXX in this position it is advised to equip earmuffs, or otherwise the nearest sound-resistant ware. Next, SCP-XXXX snaps its jaws shut at 950 m/s², sounding a 210Db shockwave. Hearing this snap results in becoming extremely fragile. Skin loosens to the point of falling off due to gravity, bones fracture significantly easier. SCP-XXXX soon consumes the victims if possible.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in the ██████ ███ Hotel in █████, Kentucky, USA. Residents reported seeing a disturbing figure through the peephole in room ███. The area was evacuated, and an Investigation team was dispatched to the area to get photos and other data before a containment team could be sent.

John: Hey 29, can you turn on the lights?

(D-38129 flips the switch, and the lights flicker for a short time before dying.)

D-38129: Call me Jerome, but the lights have decided they don’t want to work today.

John: I will call you by your identification number. Keep focused, class-D.

D-38198: Who’s bags are these? The labels have been ripped off.

D-38129: Probably someone who is rich enough to rent a suite.

(The team continues searching.)

John: This is one big room.

D-38198: Well, it’s a suite. More than a room I’d say.

D-38129: I wish I could afford anything nice like this.

John: Focus, guys. There could be the most bloodthirsty monster here, ready to kill you. Stay alert.

(The team continues to search.)

John: Guys, get your weapons ready. I see some more blood.

D-38129: Only now?

D-38198: Hey do you hear that clicking?

D-38129: Who’s there?

(SCP-XXXX’s groan can by heard)

D-38129: I swear if that’s your stomach I will- OH FUCK!

John: What- HOLY SHIT!

(Many gunshots can be heard)

John: Fuck, it got away.

(The team starts to run)

D-38129: We will probably die here.

D-38198: We still need to- there it is!

(Gunshots, SCP-XXXX’s groan)

D-38129: What the Hell is it doing?

D-38198: I hate this Fucking sound!

(SCP-XXXX clicks. D-38198 is presumably covering her ears.)

John: Damn, my skin is melting.

(John and D-38198 are heard screaming.)

(A single gunshot sounds)

(SCP-XXXX can be heard scuttling away)

D-38198: Shit, are you guys okay?

D-38129: No, dammit! Fuck!

D-38198 returned alone, claiming D-38129 and John "melted" on the way to the elevators. Mobile Task Force Theta-19 ("Clap Dancers") was provided soundproofing gear and tasked with finding and containing SCP-XXXX. The operation was deemed successful, and SCP-XXXX was placed in containment.

Addendum XXXX-1:
During a large-scale containment breach at site-███, the anomalous effects of SCP-████ prevented personnel from muffling the sounds of SCP-XXXX. As a response, a specialized area was built for this SCP, and Special Containment Procedures have since been updated.
