SCP-6592 in its containment cell.
Item #: SCP-6592
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6592 is kept in a standard Euclid-holding cell on Floor 2-B at Site-17. The entity is to be kept behind a glass cell at all times, only being fed once every 8 hours. An observation booth is established near the cell for safe observation and documentation of what happens. If personnel are not in sight of the cell, remote observation through the use of CCTV and surveillance cameras is highly recommended. Any checks for cell breaches is considered mandatory, and will be treated as if the entity tried to escape. If the entity breaches its containment, the site is to undergo a full lockdown and heavy surveillance. Personnel dealing with the entity should remain calm at all times to ensure minimal blood drainage. Once the entity has been recaptured, the site and its personnel will resume normal activity. If the entity escapes the site, Mobile Task Force unit Beta-7, codenamed the Maz Hatters, is to be dispatched and prepared to head out and recapture the entity. Once recaptured, the entity is to be brought back to the site inside a reinforced plexiglass cell.
Description: SCP-6592 is an unknown and unidentified felinoid-humanoid creature of extraterrestrial origin. It takes the form of a domestic cat when viewed in the presence of any SCP personnel. At other times, its unidentified form will manifest and spread fear throughout nearby living organisms. The entity then proceeds to feed off of the fear, blood, energy, and nutrients from the organisms, including humans. There seems to be a limit to how many substances the entity can feed from, because it has been observed to stop after certain intervals of elapsed time. The limit is most likely determined by the amount of fear absorbed by the entity, which also correlates to how many drops of blood it can feed. The drainage of substances seems to weaken nearby organisms, and in one observed case, caused an affected human to appear similar to a raisin, as if all of their bodily fluids and other substances were consumed by some unknown entity. It has a negative reaction to enclosed spaces, as it feels like its movement is limited when inside. It is, at times, heard to generate screech-like noises when it feels agitated or irritated. It will occasionally bang its limbs on or slam into the walls of its cell, and, at times, will attempt to breach.
