Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Instances are to be contained at SCP Site ███ as to avoid keeping instances 20 kilometers from all nearby wildlife. All SCP-XXXX Instances are to be kept in standard holding cells no smaller than 5 meters by 5 meters, with minimal furnishing dependant on the individual instance's form.
During the event of a containment breach by any SCP Instance in SCP Site ███, SCP-XXXX Instances are to be monitored by Class 2 personnel or higher, and if necessary, no fewer than 3 Class 2 personnel or above may move any SCP-XXXX instance to another standard holding cell where the chances of escape are diminished. Personnel are permitted non-lethal force if necessary, although lethal force is strongly prohibited.
Upon the capture of any non-contained instance of SCP-XXXX, personnel are to update the logs of SCP-XXXX as to keep an accurate count of how many instances are in SCP Foundation captivity.
Description: SCP-XXXX Instances are a group of sentient beings resembling various animalia, with slouched facial muscles, limbs far longer than the animal they resemble, and vocal cords capable of muffled human speech.
When coming within a 1 kilometer radius of SCP-XXXX instances, all animalia of the same animalia order as the SCP-XXXX instance immediately become hostile and will proceed to hunt down the SCP-XXXX instance with intent to kill.
After multiple interviews, researchers have found that well over three dozen instances of SCP-XXXX may exist, (see Addendum-XXXX-1) only three in SCP Foundation captivity as of to date. While contained SCP-XXXX instances have yet to make any mention of any instance existing for any animalia class outside of the mammalian class, it is suspected that such instances may exist, although no evidence has arrived to prove this theory.
Further interviews have shown that SCP-XXXX instances upon death, cause an effect of all animals belonging to the same animalia class that will cause the animalia class to begin rapidly evolving past known limits, including the development of language, structures, and societies over the time span of approximately a century. (See Addendum-XXXX-2) It is believed that humanity has been the only species as of yet to have had this effect.
