The Ad of the Well

Special Containment Procedures: In order to prevent any one person from being a victim of SCP-XXXX, any ad-blocking software should be installed on said persons computer. The software must be verified by the SCP foundation. SCP foundation computers should only have the specialized browser that keeps the user anonymous and blocks all ads.

SCP-XXXX is currently not contained despite the foundations best efforts to take the ad down off of various web browsers. All attempts at removing the ad from any web browser other than ad blocking software have been unsuccessful. The foundation does not know of any way to successfully contain SCP-XXXX. The only knowledge on how to prevent instances of SCP-XXXX are listed above.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 Appears to be an average internet ad that varies in appearance depending on the website that it is found on. Recorded ads include, "Lose 50 pounds in 2 Weeks!" and "You have been selected to win a [Gonna put sumthin here]! Click here for a chance to win!"

Upon clicking the advertisement the browser will display a website with no URL that says, "He will find you, yes he will. No matter what you try, he will get you. He'll make you sleep by taking your air, then throw you down the well," appearing on a black backround.

During the next 72 hours, "He" (SCP-XXXX-2) will then stalk the victim, only appearing briefly in the corner of the eye. Different subjects have described SCP-XXXX-2 as a humanoid figure with a large, watermelon sized head with wide eyes and extremely large teeth. SCP-XXXX-2's body is very thin in comparison to his head, the torso being 3-6 cm. in diameter. SCP-XXXX-2's hands however, are proportional to the head, creating a disturbing figure.

After 72 hours, the creature will then alter reality in order to separate the victim from any other humans around, only then becoming hostile. SCP-XXXX-2 will then get as close as possible to the victim without being spotted and make heavy wheezing sounds from nearby. SCP-XXXX-2 then will strangle the subject, moving its face into view only 10-16 cm. away. After the victim falls unconscious, SCP-XXXX-2 summons a well (SCP-XXXX-3) out of an interdimensional rift, and drags the subject into it, then climbing into the well itself, and traveling back to where the well came from. No cases of anybody surviving this attack have been documented.
