Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a secure item containment room with access granted only to Level 4 scientific personnel. No interaction with SCP-XXXX is permitted unless authorized by at least two Level 4 scientific personnel and both personnel are present during interaction. Further testing and interaction with SCP-XXXX is currently prohibited. Containment room should be kept under constant surveillance and an alarm system should be kept active at all times in the event of intrusion. If the alarm system is to be activated, security should be notified and sent to investigate.
Personnel that have come into direct physical contact with SCP-XXXX should be isolated, watched, and given daily psychological evaluation within an E-Class cell until their psychological status regarding SCP-XXXX’s anomalous property has been confirmed. Personnel that have not shown symptoms of, or had an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 manifest for over 31 days, may be released from their holding cell but should receive weekly psychological evaluations for an additional 31 days. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 manifests within personnel, they should be designated as E-Class and held within an E-Class cell until further notice. Affected individuals should receive psychological evaluation daily as well as antipsychotics to reduce effects until a proper extraction process is determined. No individuals affected by SCP-XXXX should be permitted to roam throughout the facility at any point in time.

Symptoms of SCP-XXXX-1 often begin showing before completely manifesting. Symptoms prior to manifestation include degradation of hearing, motor sensory, and motor movement. While SCP-XXXX-1 manifests over a long period of time (approximately three weeks) signs of it’s development are noticeable via brain scans early on.
