Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained at Site 23 in a standard 10mx10mx3m containment cell 60mx60mx3m outdoor enclosure, with fencing extending 1m into the earth at all points. The entrance to SCP-XXXX's enclosure should be double-gated, with no more than one gate open at any point in time.
SCP-XXXX's enclosure should contain abundant ground cover, including long grasses and shrubs, as well as a small copse of trees for cover from an adverse weather. All flora should be appropriate for the region.
SCP-XXXX will be fed daily. Appropriate food items include small animals (rabbits, squirrels, chickens, greese, grouse) and medium game or livestock animals (sheep, pigs, etc). No other predatory animals are to be introduced into SCP-XXX's enclosure.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a living, predatory entity of unknown origin. SCP-XXXX displays mild anti-memetic properties with regards to it's appearance. This effect is similar in appearance to the medical condition known as Akinetopsia, but only affects SCP-XXXX's body itself. This effect has been shown to induce a mild headache in most personnel, which clears shortly after the cessation of viewing SCP-XXXX. Additionally, personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX report feeling "uncomortable" when viewing SCP-XXXX, both physically and mentally. No long-lasting effects on Foundation personnel have been noted. Due to the slight anti-memetic effect of SCP-XXXX, Foundation researchers have, thus far, been unable to agree on what and exact physical description, with descriptions ranging from: "A wolf with scaly skin and multiple tails" to "Something with too many legs and not enough feet."
In all other ways, SCP-XXXX behaves as would a highly aggressive mammalian predator. SCP-XXXX will tend to walk the boundaries of its enclosure when not feeding or resting, and was initially observed spending a large amount of time constructing a "Den" on the North-West corner of the enclosure.
SCP-XXXX becomes significantly less hostile after feeding, thus, any testing should be accomplished shortly after one of the daily feedings.
Recovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered on 10/05/200█ from a small farm owned by Mr. █████ Skyles, outside ██████,Montana. SCP-XXXX came to the Foundation's attention after an agent embedded with the US. Fish and Wildlife service received reports of a man's livestock and pets being slaughtered by something he could not describe. These were at first explained away as attacks by natural predators exaggerated by an assumed mentally unstable man. However, the attacks continued for 47 days, with Mr. Skyles coming in to report the events several more times. It was at this point that Foundation Personnel began surveillance of the farm, and captured SCP-XXXX shortly thereafter. (recovered diary) The farmer had been living at the property for 6 years before the attacks began. Due to the seemingly outrageous claims made by Mr. Skyles, his relatively low standing in the community, and his diminished mental capacity after suffering from the attacks of SCP-XXXX it was decided that use of amnestics was not necessary
