Item #: SCP-4595
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4595 is to be contained in a concrete cell with a padded floor as to prevent damage to the object. Although SCP-4595 is inanimate and completely incapable of independent movement, the organisms it can produce (SCP-4595-1) are able to move and potentially attack other organisms or objects depending on their form. SCP-4595 runs on 4 AA batteries (Indicating that the object requires a very small amount of energy to function).
Description: SCP-4595 is a large rectangular prism consisting of various metals (None of which have been found to be unobtainable on Earth). It has a large, rotatable crank with a red rubber handle. Testing has shown that this handle does not get it's color from blood of any known organism, rather from dye in the handle's rubber. An opening on the front of the object, when the crank is used, is able to produce a living copy of any organism that had been deceased prior to the use of SCP-4595. Although large organisms can damage SCP-4595, the object can easily be repaired using simple tools that would be able to simply fix an analog clock. Instances of SCP-4595-1 appear to be unable to move, vocalize, or perform any other actions other than stand until completely exiting SCP-4595. Attempting to revive a living organism result in SCP-4595 simply emitting a buzz and failing to dispense anything.
Experiments on SCP-4595 have shown it to be able to revive other organic SCP items, however this is typically discouraged with most SCPs.
Recorded forms of instances of SCP-4595-1 include: 5 copies of Abraham Lincoln (Found dead at the site of the object's recovery), a cricket, a pig, a crocodile (Causing slight damage to SCP-4595), and an elephant (Not to ever be revived again). SCP-4595-1 instances appear to have the exact same properties as their previous lives, however this has not been confirmed and tests are in progress to determine whether or not non-SCP organisms have any anomalous properties. If SCP-4595-1 instances are found to have no dangerous anomalous properties, or none at all, SCP-4595 may begin to be used to revive D-Class personnel or personnel killed during containment breaches or testing. If this is done, an object reclassification from Euclid to Thaumiel should be considered.
