**SCP -A König (King) (German) “Safe”
SCP -B Reína (Queen)(Spanish) “Keter”**
Field report [•••] date [09-••-•••••]
The odd couple were discovered in an isolated village in the high mountain ranges in Ecuador. The people worshipped a Goddess named “Reína”, who was seen as a fertility goddess that bestowed vengeance for those who were wronged. They also worshipped her “son”, the fair haired “Rubio” who was said to bestow the people of the village with an agile mind, a quick wit, and good luck.
The rumors of the village was mostly ignored and would’ve gone on ignored if not for the massive amount of missing persons rising in the area. The numbers were racking up to a point where it was drawing attention, and so the SCP sent some agents out investigate.
What they found was disturbing to say the least, taken in by locals who were either completely standoffish or a little too friendly, they soon found out more about their fabled god and goddess, along with accidentally stumbling across a huge pit full of old burned bodies, and newer decaying bodies. Quickly calling for backup, the Foundation’s agents secretly witnessed a ceremony where two missing persons were brought to an alter, where their throats were slit, spreading the blood on the stone.
A woman and a younger boy ascended from above like a falling star, onto the bleeding persons, and buried their faces into their necks, a wet ripping sound audible as the present villagers started cheering.
The backup arrived mere hours later, the village taken into custody where it was discovered only a handful of the villagers were in on this cult like behavior, the rest were notably and visibly relieved. However, all spoke highly of their “deities”
The creatures in question were sentient and were able to speak quite well. The boy, who introduced himself a “König”, was the most cooperative, explaining that they’d helped the village one harsh summer, and some took it too far. However according to them, the “food” was convenient enough to prompt them to stay.
The one called “König” entered the custody of the foundation quite willing, the one called “Reína” was quite agitated however, and was only appeased when “König” told her that it was okay and to follow him.
They’ve been in Foundation custody for [REDACTED] years and correspondingly, neither has aged.
——————————————
SCP -A,
Also referred to as “König”, takes on the appearance of a humanoid male of German origin approximately 12 years of age, with unnaturally bright Silver eyes, a slitted pupil and neatly cut, wavy golden blonde hair. Slender stature and an average height that usually accompanies human males 12 years of age. This SCP has pale skin, a strong nose and chin.
Temperament is calm but serious. Despite his young age, he’s very intelligent and has a highly sophisticated manner of speaking. He has shown preference for strategic games and will challenge staff he has deemed as highly IQ’d. Games can be refused, however if excepted, SCP -A will begin to grin, will shake your hand, and say
“Let’s begin.”
When the game is done, no matter who won or lost, the loser will owe the winner one favor.
Notable Favors asked for thus far by SCP -A are as follows:
- A weighted blanket.
- Larger quarters.
- Constant access to SCP -B.
- 49 cyani cornflowers delivered to his quarters every two weeks while in season.
- Sixteen hours of surface time allotted during a week.
- One violent/sadistic D-Class, unchained Bi-Weekly.
- Sauerbraten, professionally cooked, and delivered once a year on the same date.
- A list of foundation authorized strategic games.
- A deck of Skat, and a deck of Doppelkopf.
The first requests were harmless enough, and so no suspicions were aroused at first. So games with the pre-teen continued. As the favors granted by him, if he lost, were valuable given his superior intellect and his impeccable control over SCP -B.
As such, notable favors won by foundations staff are as follows;
- Complete subordination and cooperation with all onsite staff.
- Order SCP -B to not interact with any SCP other than you unless given specific and direct permission.
- Order SCP -B to either stay in her quarters, or here with you. She is not allowed to roam the facility unattended.
- Order SCP -B to not kill unless allowed by her superiors.
- Order SCP -B to not kill unless it’s the Bi-Weekly D-Class.
However it soon came to light that all favors won were… no, HAD to be granted. Reportedly, all attempts to go back on a favor were met with high paranoia, eventual disintegration of the nervous system, and finally death. After the death of a deal maker, this “deal” would eventually move on to witnesses until the favor was carried out.
Upon further investigation behind the reasonings for this coercion, it was discovered via a weekly Cat-Scan that the deals between the SCP -A and the staff member, plants itself in the cerebellum of all members involved with the deal. The deal, once made, will not allow itself to be forgotten. And the longer the deal goes unfulfilled, the more it induces stress in the mind of the holders.
If it goes more than three weeks being unfulfilled, the “deal” will begin shutting down the nervous system, and damaging it to the point where recovery is impossible.1
SCP -A is not immune to the effects of the favor, having been witnessed with heightened agitation, discomforted breathing, and trouble moving. One month with no deal fulfilled, and the deal makers shut down completely and expire.
Death of SCP -A results in the appearance of a phenomenon called “The King Pin”.
More on that later.
After realizing all deals with SCP -A would be carried out, one way or another, all onsite staff and personnel were ordered to cease games with SCP -A, unless given direct written and signed consent. Rules were quickly altered regarding SCP -A and his 16 hours of “free time” a week was strictly supervised, and while he was “free” when outside, his movements within the foundation were meticulously planned.
Furthermore, because of SCP -A’s intellect, when put to the test, he has repeatedly cracked multiple codes, planned unbeatable combat strategies, solved and created some of the worlds most complex locks and puzzles, and, when allowed to roam the entire facility during an allotted “free time”, one year later, SCP -A was able to not only draw the entire layout of the facility from scratch - during questioning won by a favor - but was also able to somehow draw a senior staff members Key Card with such accuracy, that when tested against a scanner, it actually opened.
After failure to wipe SCP -A’s memories of the foundation’s secrets, the whole system had to be re-written, re-worked, and re-secured. The layout was changed on date January [••], 20••. The whole system saved, rebooted, and restarted. Passwords and keycards were collected and disposed of, while new ones were distributed.
Since then, SCP -A has not been allowed to freely roam the facility, and must continue to only take routes deemed as acceptable by senior staff. When Keycards are in use, SCP -A must turn around and be facing a wall, while being blocked by a guard before the keycard is exposed and used, after which, the keycard must be re-hidden before SCP 5939-A is allowed to turn around and resume the path.

“The King Pin”;
—————
A feature that seems to baffle researchers, and as it appears, SCP -A himself, is a secondary form of his known as “The King Pin”.
This form is entered when the body of SCP -A is highly damaged to the point of death. The body of SCP -A will begin to crystallize with an obsidian-like textured substance until it is formed into the shape of a giant King chess piece.
This process can take anywhere from mere minutes to up to thirteen hours.
While in "The King Pin", the piece cannot be damaged, broken, cracked or destroyed by anything. A scratch was managed to be caused by [REDACTED]. However, the scratch sealed almost immediately. Additionally; fire, acids, chemicals and man-made firearms have had no effect.
Upon further research, communication between SCP -A & B is not hindered by “The King Pin”, as SCP -B has been observed communicating with it.
While in “The King Pin”, SCP -A seems to reform and heal based on any damage done to him. Once healed, the King Pin will burst into flames, “the King Pin” breaking and fading away as ash, revealing a sleepy SCP -A. SCP -B is always there without fail to greet SCP -A, usually engulfing him in a hug.
Though SCP -A is usually mild in temperament, and has shown no ill intent towards the staff, he has been shown to enjoy sadistic entertainment. When crossed with a violent or aggressive personality, SCP -A will begin to grin, his silver eyes will brighten and he’ll call SCP -B’s name, who will appear by his side instantly, then quickly disarm the aggressor before returning to SCP -A’s side, egging him on into allowing her to play with the aggressor more. SCP 5-A has shown a sadistic glee in watching SCP -B rip these aggressors apart, usually sitting back and “enjoying the show”.
If SCP -A orders SCP -B to stop, or do something else, SCP -B will comply immediately, stand up and return to SCP -A’s side, after which, both will switch back to their usual temperament.
It is notable, SCP -A has never ordered SCP -B to kill, and has shown an unwillingness to hold grudges. All incidents related to the behavior previously stated seem to be an act of instantaneous revenge.
SCP -A has been recorded ordering SCP -B to stop her assault before the aggressor dies. Those who died later either did so from Blood Loss or Concussions, Or, SCP -A forgot to order SCP -B from going after them later.
Due to his temperament, willingness to cooperate, heightened intelligence, and impressive control over SCP -B, SCP -A has been labeled with the title; “Safe.”
————————————
SCP 5939-B,
Also referred to as “Reína”, takes on the appearance of a humanoid female of Hispanic origin, approximately 24 years of age. Has eyes that swirl blue, gold, and grey. Tight curls of various shades of brunette that fall past her rump, strong stature. She is taller than the average adult human female. Naturally tanned skin, delicate and doll-like facial features.
Temperament is unpredictable, but mainly is reported to be chipper, friendly, and most commonly, highly charismatic. She’s able to let unsuspecting personnel’s guard down in a matter of seconds. Even with her dangerous reputation.
One D-Class personal, number (27-•••) has been reported saying; and I quote
“It’s scary how quickly her charm can force your guard down.”
End quote.
SCP -B’s behavior will flip almost instantaneously when she’s by herself, or she smells human blood. Most drastically, her eyes will turn completely black and her pupils will become slotted, glowing a vibrant red. The veins around her eyes darkening as well.
When aggressive, SCP -B’s canines have been observed turning a blood red. At the request of SCP -A, SCP -B has revealed two fangs that lay flat against the roof of her mouth, and will snap forward to click over her canines. Her jaw has also been observed to dislocate to extend downwards further.
It is hypothesized that she has venom ducts in her cheeks, however, this has yet to be confirmed.
She also has retractable claws that will slice out under her nails, through a hole located at the tips of her fingers. These claws have been confirmed to slice through metal, so caution when handling the SCP is advised.
Due to her unpredictable nature, the foundation has attempted to contain her, but has had little luck outside SCP -A outright ordering her to stay in a location. This will work for just over 5 weeks at most, and as long as the two have constant, uninterrupted access to each other, risk factors will be kept at low.
Different containers have been tested, however, SCP -B has escaped all of them. Thankfully, her immediate destination has always been SCP -A.
Seeing as SCP -B has without fault, followed SCP -A’s lead, the foundation has concluded it was safest to keep SCP -A under control and hope SCP -B followed in suit with the stricter watch over the younger SCP. So far, this has worked with Varying degrees of success, as SCP -A’s deals have made completely containing him indefinitely a challenge as well.
Both SCP -A&B speak fondly of one another. In one interview with SCP -B during an isolated containment experiment, researchers asked her what her relationship with SCP -A was, she responded; I quote,
“Ese niño is my heart, we have been together since [Redacted] in Ecuador. I view him as my little brother. Me encanta, and so I protect him as such.”
End quote.
SCP -A has been noted to also look up to the young woman for comfort and protection every time “The King Pin” emerges.
The last “King Pin” incident happened [Redacted] in the year [Redacted].
Here’s the summary of the report;
- On the day of SCP -A’s collapse, SCP -B was reported to be easily agitated and jumpy. As soon as SCP -A was brought down, SCP -B, five states away, in a different facility for an endurance experiment, began to scream and wail as she entered a rage-like state. One officer on site stated that “The sound of her cries physically shook the walls”.
- She then proceeded to attack anyone who got in her way. Without being led or instructed, SCP -B was able to return back to the facility housing SCP -A, on foot, in under an hour.
- Once arrived, Hell was raised. SCP -B ripped apart anyone who attempted to keep her from SCP -A’s body, and she proceeded to attack everyone left in the room with SCP -A before he entered “The King Pin”.
- One survivor reported witnessing her dodge bullets at great speed, Healing from a broken leg in seconds, and regenerating a lost arm in a matter of minutes. Nothing they did slowed her down, so they just got out of her way.
- Another scientist reported pressing her back against a wall waiting to be killed, but she was neither attacked or even acknowledged. SCP -B simply ran past her towards SCP -A.
- One guard who expired later from massive blood-loss reported, I quote; “I shot her in the heart and neck, I know I did… she didn’t even slow down. But by the time she was on me, both had healed.”
- The whole rage lasted 6 hours. Totaling the numbers between the two facilities, SCP -B’s rage resulted in the death of 59 onsite staff - mainly guards - and 78 D-class, and injuring 324 others.
- End report summary
The rage ended only when “The King Pin” was fully formed and began to pulse. SCP -B froze, straightened, and looked over at “The King Pin” unblinkingly, then glided over and sat down in front of the black piece. Both guarding and shielding it from staff. During this time, the rage had ended, but any personnel who attempted to approach SCP -B and “The King Pin” was attacked with intent to kill.2
It was a full 24 hours before SCP -A broke free from “The King Pin”. He took two steps before his knees gave out and SCP -B caught him in her arms, curling around him and rocking him back and forth, whispering quietly in his ear. SCP -A held her back just as tightly. With none of the staff willing to separate the two, the SCP’s remained inseparable for the next 3 months.
- Plans for experimental testing regarding “The King Pin” have been dropped.
SCP -B is unable to make deals like SCP -A. However, she has various abilities of her own. Most of which pertain to allowing her to go wherever she pleases.
She can transform her body into a swarm of four different creatures;
- Brewers Blackbirds, (0.1375 lbs)
- Greater white-lined sac-winged bats, (0.0175 lbs)
- Tarantula Hawk Wasps, (0.0012375 lbs)
- And Parides Photinus Butterflies, (0.0011875 lbs)
SCP -B weighs approximately 151 lbs for her tall stature. The amount of creatures she can transform into is consistent with her own weight and the creatures. That is to say, the lighter a creature is, the more of it SCP -B can become.
- - Note: SCP -B can only transform into ONE swarm of these creatures at a time. Example; it’s either a swarm of Bats OR a swarm of butterflies. NOT a swarm of bats and butterflies.
SCP -B has also been witnessed becoming a white smoke or mist that can permeate any solid or liquid barrier. However, if it interesting to note that SCP -B will usually avoid this form unless SCP -A directly calls for her.
She also seems unable to enter this Mist form when in a rage.
When questioned on the reason behind this, they both provided the same answer. I quote;
“It makes the game too easy.”
End quote.
Attempts to further divulge the meaning behind the phrase has failed.
Because SCP -B has shown no remorse in her kills, her unpredictable nature, inability to be properly detained, and inhuman strength and speed, SCP -B was labeled the title “Keter”.
All contact should be avoided unless SCP -A has ordered her to behave, even then, advance with extreme caution.
————————————
Containment procedures are as follows,
SCP -A is encouraged to keep SCP -B near in a 12 by 19 foot dorm-like room equipped with all living essentials. Two bedrooms specifically for the SCP’s with SCP -B’s room shut with an air-sealed volt door that can be locked from the outside. For the safety of the staff, it is preferred SCP -B remained locked up while staff interact with SCP -A.
SCP -A’s room looks like that of a regular human teenagers, albeit equipped with many puzzles and strategy challenges.
SCP -B’s room has a bed, a vase of flowers, and a bookshelf, that is all, the rest of it is empty.
Food for SCP -A and B differs slightly as SCP A prefers regular human meals. However, both must consume about one and a half liters of blood bi-weekly. Which is provided by a violent and aggressive D-Class.
It is observed that usually SCP -A will watch while SCP -B “prepares” the D-Class for feeding. Once the D-Class is unconscious, beaten and bound, SCP -B will allow the younger SCP to feed first, he will, usually going for the throat.
Once he’s sated, SCP -B will finish what is left, killing D-Class which will be disposed of later. Both SCP’s are in their best mood after feeding so any deals approved of by the senior staff may be challenged for at this time.3
SCP -B has been strictly ordered both by SCP -A and on-site staff to stay away from other SCP’s.
However; endurance testing against SCP-076, SCP-682, and intelligence/immortality testing with SCP-049 is being considered. Further communication with higher officials must be properly conducted first.
——————————————
Abilities shared between the two;
Both SCP -A & B have been observed with the ability to levitate in a somewhat zero gravity/underwater type state for an undisclosed period of time.
- - SCP -B has been observed demonstrating this behavior more often then SCP -A, who has preferred to lounge in a chair rather than float around the room.
Both are able to demonstrate simple body transformations, such as eyes or claws. Though what SCP -A is capable of changing is still largely unknown.
Both have been hypothesized to possess a telepathic ability of some sort as they are able to communicate with each other without speaking.
- - Also “The King Pin” has confirmed to be able to telepathically communicate with SCP -B when fully formed.
Both have shown heighten strength and speed, what exactly the SCP’s are capable of is still largely unknown.
- - Experimentation is still being considered for SCP -B, as exposing SCP -A to danger will leave the foundation with no one to control SCP -B’s unpredictable nature and rages.
- - What these experiments will entail however is still being discussed. Too much exposure to certain SCP’s could result in an alliance that could endanger the nations security.
Both possess viper like fangs that lay against the roof of their mouths, this has been observed during their Bi-weekly feeding.
