Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 20x20 steel crate underneath Site 6 and is to be placed on a lectern opposite of the entry way. No less than four armed security guards are to be posted outside of the crate.

One tesla gate is required to be active outside of SCP-XXXX's crate to prevent any SCP-XXXX-1 from escaping. Under no circumstance should SCP-XXXX-1 be allowed to continue living past its usefulness in testing. In all testing no more than four SCP-XXXX-1 be allowed to be together to prevent any escape attempts.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a well made oil painting of Ronald Reagan that upon prolonged exposure can transform all within a 10 meter radius into instances of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX was made in 1992 by ██████ █████, a painter currently under investigation by the foundation.

First discovered by several members of the Reagan Museum on ██/██/████, no staff members recorded it being on the wall the night before. On ██/██/████ local authorities contacted the foundation as several dozen SCP-XXXX-1 were attempting to terminate civilians and extract SCP-XXXX.

Despite its rather unsuspecting nature SCP-XXXX has a 99.4% chance of transforming those who have had sustained exposure to SCP-XXXX for more than fifteen minutes into an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 are humanoid entities who upon transformation retain their appearance and bodily functions.

However SCP-XXXX-1 have shown murderous intent towards perceived communists. It appears that instances of SCP-XXXX-1 decide randomly who (and what, see Log B) is a communist and who is not. Previous or current ideological leanings do not affect its decision's.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have shown inability to solve basic puzzles, incoherent speech and a lack of self-restraint. Often attacking 'communists' in lack luster fashion. They commonly, seemingly intentionally, form groups as they move. They have shown to be able to strategize and hunt down prey as a group without any communication and on one occasion [DATA EXPUNGED]. It appears they have no way to grow in number (false, see Incident B)

Dr. Don: What is your name?

SCP-XXXX-1: *unintelligible*

Dr. Don: Do you speak English.

SCP-XXXX-1: Would you like a cup of coffee?

Dr. Don: Answer the question.

SCP-XXXX-1: *turns to the window and begins to stare at Dr. Don, becoming increasingly hostile as he stares in silence*

Dr. Don: Do I need to ask again?

SCP-XXXX-1: *angry yelling, mostly about communists infiltrating Reagan's America*

SCP-XXXX-1 attacks the reinforced glass protecting the researchers, in an attempt to kill Dr. Don and the research team

Dr. Don: Someone bring them the puzzle.

*after three minutes of silence and caution SCP-XXXX-1 is given the puzzle*

Dr. Don: I assume the puzzle is as I requested?

Researcher ████ ██████: Yes, a shape puzzle.

SCP-XXXX-1: This is…

*SCP-XXXX-1 begins to randomly put shapes in spots where they clearly don't belong, much to their frustration.*

SCP-XXXX-1: *SCP-XXXX-1 face widens with shock as he screams* Infiltration device! *SCP-XXXX-1 flings the puzzle and its pieces at the window, frightening the research team and ending the test*

+ SCP-XXXX-1 Incident A

On ██/██/████ a research team brought in three SCP-XXXX-1 and eight Class-D personnel to test their strength and ability in combat. However, during a course of six minutes nothing of importance had happened.

Dr. Don authorized security personnel opening up the door to the testing chamber, as they entered the SCP-XXXX-1 instances lunged at them in unison as if they were waiting for them. The containment breach caused ██ deaths, and ██ wounded. No other SCP's escaped during that time as the SCP-XXXX-1 did not attempt to escape through the elevator down the hall.

+ SCP-XXXX-1 Incident B

On ██/██/████ a large scale containment breach occurred, several instances of SCP-XXXX-1 had forced several dozen personnel to transform into an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX was eventually recontained after four hours.
