Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a special containment safe on site-17. The object's aperture is to be covered with an aluminium plate attached to it with brackets to avoid spilling liquid. SCP-XXXX can only be accessed with the unanimous consent of the O5 command through their personal secret codes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an 18cm tall quartz cup containing a dark red liquid identified as human blood. The blood belongs to an approximately 30 years old male caucasian individual but shows no anomalous properties on its own. Any individual drinking from SCP-XXXX will receive a powerful regeneration factor which can sustain a person indefinitely alive. Subjects affected by SCP-XXXX can regenerate wounds faster and are more resistant to diseases than regular humans but can not heal missing limbs or recover from man-made biological weapons.

The liquid inside SCP-XXXX does not replenish. There is enough blood remaining in SCP-XXXX for 19 people.

Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX was found in the basement of a 19th-century house in Berlin by the owner M█████ K██████ who was reorganizing the basement after the death of his grandfather and previous owner. Subsequently, M. K██████ consulted experts from the German history museum on the authenticity of the glass but due to the importance of the finding, multiple government agencies were contacted which led to foundation discovery. SCP-XXXX was successfully retrieved from the museum and amnestics were administered. A note discovered alongside SCP-XXXX was found in possession of M█████ K██████. Translation available below.
