Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6773-A, -B, -C, and -D are a group of extremely intelligent lifeforms capable of reconfiguring their physical properties to adapt to environments. Each entity is extremely hostile to all life, but will not attack on sight. Instead, SCP-6773 instances prefer to wait for the perfect moment where they can silently kill their victim. Then, they will consume the individual, only regurgitating the skull and spine, while consuming the rest of the body. Instances are extremely manipulative and after possessing the same form as another, will retain the memory of the subject from the past 24 hours. SCP-6773 instances' preferred method of killing vary, it solely depends on what the entity desires. It has been noted to use things from the surrounding environment, or the natural parts of it's body, producing a sharp, spike-like tongue, and impaling subjects, or dozens of extremely sharp teeth biting subjects in half. Due to the difficulty of containment, SCP-6773 instances have been classified as Morashi1 classification.

SCP-6773 instances were being contained on the SCPS-112 "Aurora" Space Station and personnel from Orbital Task Force Euro-4 ("Task Manager") have been stationed on the space station to prevent SCP-6773 instances from reaching Earth (see Incident Report.6773.3 for more information). The use of the APEX2 Scanner has been utilized during containment to lessen the risk of a containment breach and SCP-6773 entities traveling to Earth. At the beginning and end of every shift, all personnel are to be scanned with the APEX Scanner before exiting the containment area.

Please review Incident Report.6773.3 before continuing to the Updated Special Containment Procedures.

Description: SCP-6773 instances are extremely intelligent, and manipulative entities, and have scored in the 98th percentile on all intelligence and aptitude tests administered to it. It is currently unknown what the original entity naturally looks like, as when entities are terminated they maintain the current form they inhabited. Dissections concluded that the entire inside of the entities while appearing in another form consist of 98% human blood from an unidentifiable source and 2% of an unidentifiable liquid.

It has been confirmed that SCP-6773 instances can communicate in all languages of previous forms had learned. Interviews have been attempted, but the instances refuse to talk with foundation personnel outside of their "hunting mode" where they attempt to act like the human.

Discovery: SCP-6773 instances were first discovered after the SCPS-112 "Aurora" failed to conduct the routine check-in. Mobile Task Force Kappa-4 ("Blind as Bats") Blackout Squad were deployed to investigate the station. Quickly after, Blackout Squad reported their operatives terminating each other with tentacle-like appendages before contact with the captain was severed. Lance Squad was deployed to re-contain the area and successfully captured the SCP-6773 instances despite sustaining 60% casualties on the 10 personnel crew.

Note: It has been noted that SCP-6773 instances can take the form of any living organism, after this discovery was made no non-human entities are permitted on the station

Incident Report.6773.1: On ██/██/20██, SCP-6773-B and SCP-6773-D breached containment through unknown means. As before the breach the surveillance system was disabled. The two instances were unable to locate SCP-6773-A and SCP-6773-C and proceeded through to the decontamination chamber to attempt an escape. They were unaware of the purpose or function of the decontamination chamber and were harmed to a severe degree, to where security personnel were notified and the instances were returned to their cells.

Incident Report.6773.2: On ██/██/20██, All SCP-6773 instances breached containment through unknown means. All surveillance equipment was shut off and the escaped instances killed 75 percent of security and research personnel aboard the station. Codename "Sharp" was able to lure the instances into a single containment chamber before sealing them inside and kept the entities in containment until reinforcements arrived two days later.

Incident Report.6773.3: On ██/██/20██, All instances breached containment through unknown means, and will never be determined. The on-station warhead was detonated as all instances attempted an escape among several different escape pods, assumed to be traveling to Earth to spread amongst the populace. Three of the five escape pods were destroyed, leaving SCP-6773-C in custody at Site-89 under the supervision of Site Director Hollender. SCP-6773-D's whereabouts are as of this time unknown, but is assumed to be in the general vicinity of San Francisco, California. Mobile Task Force Zeta-6 ("Midnight Trackers") was sent to investigate and contain SCP-6773-D as soon as possible.
