Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4484-1 and all instances of SCP-4484-2 are to be contained at site-█████ with at least one instance of SCP-4484-2 in containment at site-█████ at all times.
All instances of SCP-4484-1 are to be held in the basic humanoid detainment wing at site-█████ and are never to be made aware of the purpose of their detainment or of the existence of SCP-4484-2. In the event an instance of SCP-4484-1 was perviously aware, or has learnt about the existence of SCP-4484-2 the instance in question is to be neutralised immediately, unless the total population of SCP-4484-2 instances is lower than 5 instances contained at site-█████ in which case a guard is to placed on the instance as a 24/7 watch, as well as relocation to a padded humanoid cell at site-█████.
The current instance of SCP-4484-2 is to be contained within a 3x3x3m concrete cell where SCP-4484-2 is to be restrained to a chair using basic humanoid restraints. The outer room is to be 35x35x35m and constructed from reinforced steel and foldable in the event of a containment breach that puts the containment of SCP-4484-2 at risk, both rooms are to have crude entrances to only be used when containing the instance of SCP-4484-2 and collecting the decease body of SCP-4484-2, under any other circumstances these two entrances are to remain sealed in a layer of rebar reinforced concrete.

Description: SCP-4484 is of unknown origin . It is an anomalous virus sharing similar properties to common viruses . SCP-4484 is approximately 45nm in length and shaped similar to that of the common cold. SCP-4484 will only manifests its self within a single humanoid classed as SCP-4484-1 at a time, meaning only one instance of SCP-4484-2 can exists at any given time. SCP-4484-1 instances are humanoids that exhibit anomalous symptoms including:

  • The constant perceiving of SCP-4484-3 whilst in dream state.
  • Unnaturally high increase in levels of anxiety and paranoia.
  • Consistant nausea.
  • Involuntary self infliction of marks onto wrists and neck.
  • Periods of panicking.

SCP-4484-1 instances are the only living organisms susceptible to SCP-4484, research at site-█████ has concluded that the process of becoming an instance of SCP-4484-1 is seemingly random, any and all humans are susceptible to becoming instances of SCP-4484-1. SCP-4484-2 is a former instance of SCP-4484-1 that is hosting SCP-4484. SCP-4484-2 will now perceive SCP-4484-3 in its surroundings, SCP-4484-3 is usually reported in the corner of the room SCP-4484-1 is located in, "watching" SCP-4484-2. The instance of SCP-4484-2 will exhibit; extreme fear regarding SCP-4484-3, amplified paranoia, anxiety and nausea, and will constantly ask for "him" (SCP-4484-3) to be taken away. After a prolonged period of severe stress and panicking SCP-4484-2 will attempt to end its own life, usually 4-8 days after SCP-4484 has manifested its self, via self inflicted head trauma, usually by repeatedly hitting its head against a wall of other hard object.
During this period instances of SCP-4484-2 will report that SCP-4484-3 is getting closer to it and it wishes for SCP-4484-3 to be either stopped or taken away, panicking will increase during this period of time as SCP-4484-3 continues to "watch" SCP-4484-2. SCP-4484-3 is most likely to be a male humanoid that only manifests its self into the subconscious of SCP-4484-1 instances and the conscious of SCP-4484-2, SCP-4484-3 will seem to approach SCP-4484-2 over a long period of time, so far there is no recorded instance of SCP-4484-2 that experiences SCP-4484-3 reaching it. Either SCP-4484-2 ends its own life or SCP-4484-2 looses all cognitive functions.
