Object Category: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5324 is to be kept in a secure holding cell, 35m x 35m x 35m. Any Foundation staff assigned to SCP-5324 may only work with its containment for a period of two weeks; after that time, they are to be administered Class-B amnetics and re-assigned. Foundation staff and D-Class personnel must also be screened for any factors that may expedite a breach before entering within 30m of the object. D-Class personnel with backgrounds involving nonviolent crime must be administered amnetics after testing; those with violent crime sentences may not be used for testing purposes.

Description: SCP-5324 is an ornate wooden throne, 2.6m tall and .5 m wide. Material tests have shown the wood to be non-anomalous ash, sourced from [REDACTED]. The back of the throne is covered in elaborate carvings depicting iconography in a style consistent with that found in mid-1700s Christian liturgical art: lambs, stylized towers, knives, ivy, [REDACTED]. Many of the lambs pictured seem to be partially or fully flayed.

SCP-5324 possesses a latent weak psychic ability, allowing it to understand thoughts directed at it with intention from about 30m away. This ability is magnified when a subject is seated in SCP-5324, to the point that it allows for a two-way telepathic conversation.

Without failure, contact with SCP-5324 immediately initiates a conversation wherein it will ask its interlocutor if there are “any sins” they would like to “do vengeance on.” It can be steered away from this line of questioning briefly (see Interview Log 5324-1-23), but continues to come back to it the longer the conversation persists. When its question is answered with a “sin” that fits SCP-5324’s (currently only partially known) criteria, it will manifest several instances of SCP-5324-1.

SCP-5324-1 are small (approximately .6 m at the shoulder) lambs, exhibiting characteristics identical to nonanomalous lambs of about 4 months old, missing all dermal tissues. These instances, when manifested by SCP-5324, will teleport to the target defined as the “perpetrator” of the “sin” named. Once they’ve done so, they will begin [REDACTED]. Testing has shown this is not always fatal, but [DATA EXPUNGED]. When SCP-5324-1 instances have finished their task, they will demanifest.

Interview Log 5324-1-23

Interviewer: Dr. S██████

Foreword: For ease of conversation, Dr. S██████ opted to be seated in SCP-5324 while transcribing. A closed-circuit camera filmed the proceedings in order to document any unforeseen anomalies.

[Dr. S██████ seats herself on SCP-5324, holding a pad of paper and a pencil.]
SCP-5324: Hello, child. What sin against you may we do vengeance on? [Transcription notes that SCP-5324’s voice is “extremely soothing.”]
Dr. S██████: What are you?
SCP-5324: [pause] I am the patron of the weak and wounded, the flayed lamb, the Tower, the weeping maiden, the dying ivy, the [REDACTED], the revenant. What sin against you may we do vengeance on? You have so much hurt in you.
Dr. S██████: [scribbles down response on pad.] Who made you?
SCP-5324: Child, I do not understand what you ask, or why you pause in enacting your holy revenge.
Dr. S██████: Who, um, constructed you? Built you? How did you come into being?
SCP-5324: [REDACTED] planted the tree, and blood watered me. May I do vengeance on the sins against you?
Dr. S██████: [pause, then aloud to monitoring researchers] Anything else? I think I’m about done. [offscreen voice heard dissenting.] Alright. I’ll finish up. [To SCP-5324] Thank you for your time.
[There is a pause of about thirty seconds where Dr. S remains seated on SCP-5324, eyes fixed straight ahead. 6 instances of SCP-5324-1 manifest, cry out, and immediately teleport.]
Dr. S██████: [standing] Oh, oh god, oh [EXPLETIVE REDACTED], I couldn’t- I couldn’t help it- I-

Closing Statement: Dr. S██████ was escorted from the holding cell and placed under temporary leave. She was later given a Class-B amnetic and reassigned to active duty. Previously-taken psychiatric statements list Dr. S██████’s disclosure of a sexual assault survived sometime in August 20██, perpetrated by one ██████ ██████. Police records failed to show any report of this assault (as is often common for survivors). However, shortly after the interview above concluded, a new report about ██████ ██████ was submitted. ██████ ██████ had been found in his apartment, [DATA EXPUNGED] and pleaded for police to shoot him. He later expired under hospital care.
