Item #: SCP-5XXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX is contained at Site-239's Research and Analytics sector in a sealed Reinforced Object Containment Unit, maintained at a humidity level of 0% at all times. Routine checks and clean ups must be conducted daily for any leaks at the entrance of SCP-5XXX's Containment Unit, ice accumulation on the outside of the unit, and SCP-5XXX-1 accumulation on SCP-5XXX. No water-based liquids are permitted inside SCP-5XXX's Containment Unit, and any personnel attempting to enter SCP-5XXX's Containment Unit must wear Level 2 Protective Gear.
Restoration of SCP-5XXX-A is only to be permitted after being green-lit by R&A Director Dr. Ricardo Piedra
Description: SCP-5XXX is an ice formation in the shape of an octahedron, being 0.6m in length from vertex to opposing vertex, and remains at a constant temperature of -213° C despite any attempts at increasing it's temperature (See Test Log 5XXX.1), defying the laws of thermodynamics. SCP-5XXX attracts all water molecules in both air and liquids through unknown means, and when in contact with them, will rapidly begin to convert them into SCP-5XXX-1. After sufficient accumulation of SCP-5XXX-1, water molecule attraction will cease.
SCP-5XXX-1 is the designation of the ice generated by SCP-5XXX. Due to variations of it's structure on the molecular level, it is visually much whiter than regular ice, and having a much higher melting point. Once the amount of SCP-5XXX-1 exceeds an unspecified threshold, it will begin to form into SCP-5XXX-A.
SCP-5XXX-A is a sapient humanoid composed of SCP-5XXX-1 measuring approximately 2.3 meters in height, with SCP-5XXX resting in the center of it's chest cavity. SCP-5XXX-1 lacks any interior and exterior organs. Despite this, it is still capable of reacting to audio and visual stimuli, and achieves locomotion similar to that of a human through unknown means. At the top of SCP-5XXX's head is what appears to be a jagged, chipped crown.
SCP-5XXX-A claims to be "Guardian-King Indoth", an ancient ruler of an undocumented kingdom called Kvaerna said to be located in Antarctica (See Interview Log 5XXX.IL1).
