NOTICE FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
SCP-XXXX’s Containment Procedures is a product of it’s unpredictability. It CANNOT be used without permission. Instead, requests to use it ARE to be approved by personnel with a Level 3 Clearance or higher. Why we don’t just change the Containment Procedures is because all attempts made to do so have failed.
— Site Director Corey
You don’t need to log in but it is highly advised to do so.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a storage locker at Site-19. Anyone, excluding certain D-Class, can access SCP-XXXX without permission.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a paraffin lamp. The flame within the object is plainly red. When given fuel, SCP-XXXX shakes until it starts to roll with speeds up to 25 miles per hour - after this event, a different event connected to SCP-XXXX takes place. However, the flame within SCP-XXXX never burns anything while it rolls. When near a sentient object, SCP-XXXX will talk to said sentient object in a calm voice. After talking to SCP-XXXX, subjects claim to feel more relax and become incapable of any hostile actions. It’s also worth noting that SCP-XXXX can use an unknown force to move around small objects.
Note: The following information requires a Level 3 Clearance.
