Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class:** Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the risk of moving SCP-XXXX a containment cell has been constructed around it with soundproof walls and shock absorbers. The containment cell is outfitted with (4) cameras and motion sensors. SCP-XXXX is to be under (24)-hour surveillance and is under no circumstances to be left unattended.
The area around SCP-XXXX is to be surrounded by an electric fence and patrolled regularly. The cell of SCP-XXXX is not to be opened under any circumstances aside from approved testing by three level 4 researchers.
Should an "SCP-XXXX-2 event" occur at a foundation facility all personnel are to be evacuated and the facility quarantined for (24) hours to assure the "SCP-XXXX-2 event" has ended.
Description:** SCP-XXXX is a small leafless tree of unknown species located in the jungels of ████████. SCP-XXXX measures roughly (1,16) meters in height and (42) cm in width. SCP-XXXX does not grow and does not require sustenance. The branches of SCP-XXXX have small cocoons growing on them, the size of these cocoons vary greatly. These cocoons contain butterflies of various size and species. Once SCP-XXXX is disturbed by any outside force the cocoons will release the butterflies which will in turn cause massive damage. These butterflies are designated as SCP-XXXX-2.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 will not show any anomalous properties at first and will appear to be completely normal. SCP-XXXX-2's anomalous properties will manifest once it comes into contact with something. Whenever SCP-XXXX-2 interacts with anything it causes a large-scale chain-reaction designated as an "SCP-XXXX-2 event", which can result in, but is not limited to: forest fires, floods, containment breaches, death, injury or massive storms. An "SCP-XXXX-2 event" can last from (1) minute up until (18) hours.
The results of "SCP-XXXX-2 event's" appear to be random and will often result in large scale destruction. Different methods of disturbing SCP-XXXX does not appear to affect the outcome or scale of the "SCP-XXXX-2 event".
Testing has shown that termination of SCP-XXXX-2 does not stop an "SCP-XXXX-2 event" from occurring. The corpse of SCP-XXXX-2 does not lose any anomalous properties. Even complete incineration has proven useless, currently all known forms of SCP-XXXX-2 (dead or otherwise) is capable of causing an "SCP-XXXX-2 event".
Currently there exists no way of containing "SCP-XXXX-2 event's".
Addendum:** By unknown means an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 somehow made its way into a secure foundation facility. As expected it caused an "SCP-XXXX-2 event", however this proved useful as the facility was experiencing a containment breach which the affair mentioned "SCP-XXXX-2 event" helped stop by incapacitating ██████ and collapsing the cealing on top of ██████.
This has given life to the idea of trying to control and use SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities to the foundations benefit. This idea is however too dangerous to test properly and SCP-XXXX's lead researcher dr.█████████ has, among others opposed the idea at several occasions.
Ideas for SCP's:
- An alleyway containing Jack the ripper
- A radioactive skeleton that feeds on radiation
- A Syringe that infects you with a Virus wich causes growth of syringe needles
- A Forest with a Lake that eats People
- The Nicest person ever
- An Infinite clockwork
- A Living Farm
- A living Brain that takes over Your nervous-system
- Literal fire-Ants
- A black Hound that hates humanity and comes back to life
- A Scalpel that forces you to do lethal surgery on others
- A Serial Killer that rots eternaly
- A phone that rings and gives you someone to talk to
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be confined to a standard humanoid containment cell located 50 m below ground beneath a small foundation facility located in ██████, Norway designated site ██ as the area has a minimal chance of disturbing SCP-XXXX. The cell of SCP-XXXX is to be equipped with various fire suppression systems such as sprinklers and foam. Additionally, the corridor leading to SCP-XXXX containment cell is to be flooded in the event that SCP-XXXX breaks containment.
Should SCP-XXXX break containment all personnel are to stand down and abandon anything that can be considered a weapon until SCP-XXXX has calmed down and been returned to its cell.
Any personnel entering SCP-XXXX containment cell is under no circumstance to make any loud noises or sudden movements that may be perceived as threatening. All personnel are to exit the containment cell should SCP-XXXX show any signs of anger.
SCP-XXXX is generally cooperative and has therefor been allowed to request items that have a minimal chance of making any loud noises or be perceived as weapons. Notable requests include:
- A small pet bird, specifically a white dove (approved)
- Various flora such as flowers and small trees (approved)
- A sword or Axe for training purposes (denied)
- Access to various locations located in Northern ███████ (denied)
- A blank journal, a quill and ink for drawing and writing (approved, all contents within the journal is to be examined by SCP-XXXX head researcher)
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient humanoid entity resembling a charred human corpse clad in black medieval armor. SCP-XXXX armor appears to be from 14th century England, composed of steel and has displayed the ability to regenerate even after being cut in half, the same goes for the body of SCP-XXXX. A close inspection of SCP-XXXX body has shown that SCP-XXXX is fused to the armor, invasive tests are impossible at this time due to the risks involved.
Should SCP-XXXX see or hear anything it perceives as threatening such as loud noises and sharp objects it will involuntarily enter its active state. Upon entering its active state, it will adopt a berserker-like rage and attempt to kill anything it considers a threat. Additionally, when SCP-XXXX is in its active state the temperature of its armor will rise to 1 890 °C, SCP-XXXX does not seem to have any control over this ability whilst inactive. Only when all threats are removed from SCP-XXXX line of sight will SCP-XXXX revert back to its usual nonthreatening behavior, it will then usually return to its containment cell without resistance.
Water and various means of fire suppression has been shown to have a calming effect on SCP-XXXX while in its active state, though this will not stop its rampage, only slow it down. Additionally, once it has calmed down it will often show remorse and even sorrow after killing someone during its rampages such as during incident XXXX-7-Blue (see addendum-2). This indicates that SCP-XXXX has a conscience and that its rampages are an involuntary reflex, possibly something similar to PTSD.
SCP-XXXX is somehow capable of vocal communication despite lacking the necessary organs to do so. Despite being capable of speaking English and other languages such as Latin it has difficulty pronouncing words and will instead growl or shake its head. SCP-XXXX behavior and knowledge seems to suggest that it was at some point part of human society but that it has since lost the social skills necessary to do so. Despite the problem it has with vocal communication it is capable of understanding complex words and phrases, which suggest it is intelligent. IQ tests have so far been inconclusive.
Researchers note: SCP-XXXX seems to have experienced some traumatic and highly stressful event in its past. Due to its reluctance to share information on its past as well as its compulsion to draw and write about the aftermath of some sort of war or great battle it is believed that this event is the cause of its involuntary rampages. It is recommended that all who interact with SCP-XXXX be careful when asking it about its past.
Addendum: Recorded interview between Dr. Edvard Heyerdahl and SCP-XXXX.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Doctor Edvard Heyerdahl
Foreword: The following interview was recorded on 19.██.20██. The interview was conducted following incident: XXXX-5, in which SCP-XXXX showed mercy while in its active state. The purpose of this interview is to determine what caused the abnormal behavior displayed by SCP-XXXX during the incident.
<Begin Log>
Dr Heyerdahl: Good day XXXX. I would like to ask you a few questions regarding the incident a few days ago, if that’s alright with you?
SCP-XXXX: (nods).Dr Heyerdahl: Good, let us begin. What was it that caused you to become enraged this time?
SCP-XXXX: (Growls)… I saw… w-weapon. Attacked…
Dr Heyerdahl: So, you thought you were in danger?
SCP-XXXX: (Nods) don’t like… weapons (growls).
Dr Heyerdahl: Okay then. You realize that we mean you no harm correct, and that your containment is for the safety of others?
SCP-XXXX: Y-yes, but… (incomprehensible roar).
Dr Heyerdahl: (Recoils, but quickly regains composure). Let’s move on. After attacking and killing several guards and personnel you stopped once you saw agent ████, why?
SCP-XXXX: (Remains silent).
Dr Heyerdahl: XXXX, why did you stop when you saw agent ████?
SCP-XXXX: (Growls). Remembered… friend.
Dr Heyerdahl: So you stopped because you consider him a friend? I don’t believe that you have had any notable interactions wi- (gets cut off by SCP-XXXX).
SCP-XXXX: No, other friend…
Dr Heyerdahl: Then, do you mean that he resembles someone you knew prior to containment?
SCP-XXXX: (Remains silent)
Dr Heyerdahl: XXXX, please answer the question.
SCP-XXXX: (Roars, then remains silent)
<End Log>
Closing Statement: After being asked to elaborate on its last answer SCP-XXXX refused to speak or answer any further questions for the remainder of the interview. Based on the limited information given by SCP-XXXX during the interview it has become apparent that its life prior to containment may have been more complex than previously thought. It also seems that SCP-XXXX knew someone that closely resembles agent ████ as prior to incident: XXXX-5 it has had only two known interactions with agent ████, neither of which contained more than a simple greeting.
Addendum-2:
Incident log: XXXX-7-Blue
Foreword: During a routine interview with Dr. Edvard Heyerdahl SCP-XXXX was continually asked about its past which seems to have triggered a traumatic memory which in turn caused it to enter its active state and go on a rampage killing several personnel including Dr. Heyerdahl. During its rampage SCP-XXXX engulfed itself and a large part of the facility in anomalous blue flames, the reason for this is still unknown.
15:00. Interview starts.
15:17. SCP-XXXX refuses to answer any and all questions about its past despite Dr. Heyerdahl's insistence.
15:24. SCP-XXXX begins to scream and roar for several minutes seemingly in a panic before entering its active state, Dr. Heyerdahl leaves the containment cell just before SCP-XXXX activated.
15:33. SCP-XXXX appears much more violent than normal, repeatedly slamming its body into the walls and clawing at its head. It is not slowed by the fire suppression or flooding of the corridor leading to its containment chamber.
15:41. After engaging and brutally killing several unarmed personnel attempting to surrender SCP-XXXX began convulsing before becoming engulfed in blue flames which quickly started to spread to everything the entity came into contact with.
15:49. SCP-XXXX continues to roam the facility spreading its blue flames wherever it goes whilst repeating the phrases: "Per ignem" and "Ignis, mundum emunda".
16:01. After covering roughly 34% of the facility in blue flames and killing/attacking 13 unarmed members of staff SCP-XXXX finally calmed down and stopped its rampage, this also caused the blue flames to die out in mere seconds leaving no damage to any non-organic material having only damaged the corpses of those killed or attacked by SCP-XXXX.
<End log>
Final word: So far this is the only recorded instance of blue flames being produced by SCP-XXXX, when questioned about these flames or the incident it enters an unresponsive state which can last anywhere from 3 minutes to 3 hours. SCP-XXXX has also started to become less responsive when conversing with personnel, often spacing out or beginning to repeat the phrase "No more" several times before refusing to speak for several hours.
The Blue flames produced by SCP-XXXX spread at an incredible pace despite them seeming to be unable to consume anything other than organic material. Additionally, the phrases uttered by SCP-XXXX "Per ignem" and "Ignis, mundum emunda" meaning "By fire" and "Fire, cleanse the world" in Latin are unknown to SCP-XXXX as it claims to have never heard either of them.
Further questioning and investigation into the phrases uttered and blue flames produced by SCP-XXXX is currently ongoing.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker at site ██. SCP-XXXX is not to be removed for any other purpose than approved testing. There is to be one guard on duty at all times to prevent any unauthorised acces to SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a mathematical equation written in black ink on a torn piece of paper measuring rhougly 5 cm in Width and 3,2 cm in lenght. If the equation is solved or understood by an individual it will cause rapid expansion of the individuals brain and intellect. The expansion of the individuals brain will cause the cranium or in some cases the entire head of the individual to split open, wich usually results in death. After the individual expires the expansion of the individuals brain will cease.
In the event that the individual somehow survives longer than 5 minuttes the expansion of the individuals brain will cease, they will then display vastly increased inteligence and knowlege of the universe. The knowlege the subject gains will often drive them insane or drive the subject to comit suicide. Before the individuals die they will often speak incoherently and often in some unknown language.
Commond phrases include:
- The universe is not infinite.
- He enters Our world.
- Nab, kv'ar ng mi bushet.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be confined to a large containment cell and is only to be moved to other areas for testing purposes. The cell is outfitet with a small duck pond roughly 5m by 6m.The containment cell also functions as a breakroom for staff. Four tables are currently placed within the containment cell, any additional furniture added to the the containment cell is to be approved by atleast one reasearcher assigned to SCP-XXXX. The cell is to be cleaned daily, water changed regularly and the flora prodused by SCP-XXXX is to be removed as necessary.
While personell and even D-class are allowed to interact with SCP-XXXX they are not allowed to do so for more than three days a week to prevent it from geting to atatched to any one individual. Any individual caught misstreating or abusing SCP-XXXX will be severly punished.
Personnell are allowed to eat in SCP-XXXX containment cell, but are not to feed SCP-XXXX anything that is not included in its regular diet. List of acceptable feeding items:
- Wheat, barley, or similar grains
- Oats (uncooked; rolled or quick)
- Rice (plain white or brown, cooked or uncooked)
- Birdseed (any type or mix)
- Grapes (cut in half or quartered if very large)
- Nut hearts or pieces (any type but without salt, coatings, or flavoring)
- Earthworms (fishing bait or dug from the garden)
- Mealworms (fresh or dried)
- Chopped lettuce or other greens
Description: SCP-XXXX is a male member of the Anas platyrhynchos species of duck or mallard duck. Anatomicaly speaking SCP-XXXX is no different from fellow members of its species, however it does not appear to physicaly age. SCP-XXXX behaviour is similar to a domesticated dog and will often be very affectionate when interacting with staff. SCP-XXXX affectionate and very trusting behaviour is theorized to be a result of its primary anomalus effekt.
Wherever SCP-XXXX walks an unknown species of flora will begin to grow regardles of surface. The flora SCP-XXXX creates resembles flowers of the Ranunculus genus or buttercups, as well as common grass. The flora will release a sweet scent that calms anyone that inhales it, the effect is the same regardless of species, however it should be noted that this calming effect will not allways stop the organism being affected from hurting SCP-XXXX. The flora does not have any roots and will not cause any damage to the surface on wich it grows. The flora is capable of growing on human skin, but this should be no cause to alarm as subjects have reported removal of the flora similar to the removal of a band-aid.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located in a large underwater cavesystem near the shores of █████, foundation personell are to patrol the area regurlary and any beaches that may provide acces to SCP-XXXX area of effect have been to be shut down.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an amorphus predatory entity wich primarily feeds on humans, and will often appear as a black liqud whilst inactive. SCP-XXXX is capable of changing its form with seemingly no limits, it uses this ability to turn itself into its preys worst fears of the ocean. Additionaly it causes paranoia, minor auditory and visual halucinations wich drive its prey towards it. SCP-XXXX will only attack once Visual contact is established With its prey and will then proceed to kill it, SCP-XXXX will then Return to its Liquid form and over the Next 20-25 minutes slowly disolve it.
Addendum:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell, personnel are not allowed enter the containment cell under any circumstance and communication is to be restricted to use of remote communication only. Additionally, due to SCP-XXXX anomalous abilities it is to be strapped to a table in its cell to keep it from moving to close to the walls. SCP-XXXX is not to be fed or engaged in conversation as it is highly manipulative. Additionally, it is advised that new staff members assigned to SCP-XXXX does not underestimate SCP-XXXX despite its fragile appearance and limited movement.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity resembling an old man roughly 100 years old, with no hair and white eyes. SCP-XXXX has various torn pieces of cloth and bandages covering its body, there are also various red symbols covering the material. Analysis of the symbols on SCP-XXXX clothing have been inconclusive. SCP-XXXX is capable of speech and seems to instinctively understand any language it hears.
SCP-XXXX is very manipulative and highly intelligent, and will often mimic human emotions in attempt to manipulate staff. SCP-XXXX will often attempt to trick new personnel assigned to it using what seems to be low level telepathy to communicate, any personnel experiencing this is to report it immediately.
SCP-XXXX possesses various anomalous abilities such as the aforementioned low level telepathy, it is also capable of telekinesis, however this ability seems to be limited by awareness of the object it is attempting to move.
SCP-XXXX primary anomalous effect is its ability to speed up the aging process of any living organism within a 23-meter radius of its current location. This ability has been shown to be able to reduce a human being to dust in less than 30 minutes.
SCP-XXXX is capable of regenerating lost tissue, but this process can take months or even years depending on the severity of the injury. This ability seems to be in constant effect as when SCP-XXXX was originally discovered it resembled a rotted human corpse, but has over the years seemingly healed and is still becoming younger. Currently, no known means are known to foundation that can actually kill SCP-XXXX.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in an underground tomb located in the Mountains of █████ after the archeologists who discovered the tomb had gone missing. Foundation personnel located in the area was dispatched to determine if there was anything anomalous in the tomb that might have caused this. In the tomb SCP-XXXX was discovered within a golden sarcophagus, when foundation personnel opened the sarcophagus they were affected by SCP-XXXX and started to rapidly age, though they were able to inform the foundation before being killed by SCP-XXXX using its telekinesis.
Symbols found in the tomb were the same as on SCP-XXXX clothing, additionally there seems to have been conducted blood sacrifices inside the tomb as evidenced by human remains and a ritualistic knife found in the tomb.
Addendum: Recorded interview between dr. Edvard Heyerdahl and SCP-XXXX.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Doctor Edvard Heyerdahl
Foreword: The following interview was recorded on ██.██.████. The goal of this interview was to determine SCP-XXXX origin and motives. The interview was conducted using a speaker and microphone placed in SCP-XXXX cell.
<Begin Log>
Dr Heyerdahl: Hello, SCP-XXXX? Can you hear me?
SCP-XXXX: Hm, yes doctor, I hear you.
Dr Heyerdahl: Good, I am going to ask you a few questions and would like you to answer them honestly, ok?
SCP-XXXX: Of course doctor, I would never lie to you.Dr Heyerdahl: Good, now then, what is your name?
SCP-XXXX: Well, I have had many names throughout history, but right now I think time would be fine, for now.
Dr Heyerdahl: So, you are claiming to be time? As in the force that makes everything age and moves the universe forward?
SCP-XXXX: I am a part of what you humans call time, yes.
Dr Heyerdahl: What do you mean by that?
SCP-XXXX: Ugh, you lesser beings have such a limited understanding of things. Can we move on to a question with an answer that you might be able to understand?
Dr Heyerdahl: Uh, very well then. When you were first discovered you were in a tomb, why?
SCP-XXXX: Well, to put it simply I was defeated by another being like myself, I was simply resting and healing when some lesser lifeforms like yourself found me. They simply gave me a more secluded place to do so, though I wish they would have avoided killing each other in front of me, the screaming was so annoying.
Dr Heyerdahl: What do you mean by another being like yourself?
SCP-XXXX: Well, I believe the word you simpletons use is Gods.
Dr Heyerdahl: So you are claiming to be a God?
SCP-XXXX: Oh, I am simply stating the facts, doctor (pauses, then looks up at one of the cameras in its cell). By the way doctor you are righthanded, correct?
Dr Heyerdahl: Wha-, well yes but I fail to see what that has to do with anythi-(Dr Heyerdahl proceeds to stab himself in the gut using the pen he was holding)
SCP-XXXX: (Laughs uncontrollably)
<End Log>Closing Statement: During the interview SCP-XXXX seems to have used its telekinetic abilities to force dr Heyerdahl to stab himself using the pen he was writing with. SCP-XXXX continued to laugh for 3 minutes after the interview and it is unknown how it managed to gain knowledge of dr Heyerdahl's position, investigation into the matter is ongoing. Due to SCP-XXXX manipulative behavior it is unknown how much of what it said was true, however it has previously claimed to be a god of time, investigation into mentions of SCP-XXXX in historical texts are ongoing.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C is to be contained within a 5x by 6x meter cells and wearing a Level 5 humanoid restriction harness. The cell of all SCP-XXXX must be devoit of any form of ilumination to keep it in its dozile state. Should SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B, SCP-XXXX-C break containment, all personel are to evacuate and the power to their containment wing is to be shut off, taskforce-███████ is to respond and recontain SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C are humanoid predatory entities resembeling malnourished humans With no body hair or facial features. Each SCP-XXXX has a different skincolour with black patterns on their back and shoulders, SCP-XXXX-A has red skincolour, SCP-XXXX-B has a blue skincolour and SCP-XXXX-C has a yellow skincolour. The entities have retractable claws on their fingers rhougly 1,7 cm capable of injecting a paralytic venom similar to that of a box jellyfish. The enteties heads are capable of spliting open to reveal large mouth with several rows of teeth as well as a light similar to the lure of deep sea fish. This organ seems to be their primary hunting method and it is capable of placing individuals in a dozile and confused state so long as visual contact is maintained with the lure.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the erratic and seemingly random appearances of SCP-XXXX containment has so far been unsuccessful and as of writing this all further attempts to capture SCP-XXXX have been put on hold until further notice.
Containment is mainly focused on covering up the various disappearances the entity is responsible for, as well as monitoring the various locations the entity may appear in. Foundation agents are also embedded in various businesses that are responsible for arranging hunting, camping and hiking in an attempt to keep tabs on people who may fall victim to SCP-XXXX, as well as the areas the entity may appear.
Foundation personnel are also responsible for recovery of the corpses of SCP-XXXX victims and are to feed appropriate cover stories to locals and law enforcement.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an entity that appears randomly in various parts of the Norwegian wilderness, thought to be its primary hunting grounds. It appears as a humanoid creature roughly 1,8 meters in height and wearing green and black winter clothing, it covers its head with the hood of its jacket and has never been observed without it. Due to SCP-XXXX anomalous abilities the only known detail about its face is that it has a warm and friendly smile similar to that of a loved one.
The entity appears seemingly at random, mostly in secluded areas of the Norwegian wilderness during the winter season. Whenever it appears it will always make contact with people that are alone or lost in the wilderness, such as hikers, outdoorsmen, hunters and campers. Once contact has been made SCP-XXXX will reach out its hand in a friendly manner, the contacted individual will then proceed to take SCP-XXXX hand before being led by SCP-XXXX further into the wilderness and disappear along with the entity. The individual’s corpse will then reappear in a nearby lake several weeks later having seemingly drowned. The corpse will have no signs of a struggle instead appearing to have died quite peacefully, however upon autopsy it will be discovered that the heart of the individual is missing and that the area where the heart should be located have several burns. So far it is unknown why or how SCP-XXXX does this or why it seeks out humans in this way, the current theory is that the entity is hunting for sport and is taking the hearts as some sort of trophy.
There have also on occasion been reports of animal remains displayed in a ritualistic manor near the lake in which the corpses appear. These are suspected to be connected to SCP-XXXX but this is still unconfirmed at this time.
Several attempts at catching SCP-XXXX on camera have been made, but attempts have so far been mostly unsuccessful and costly due to SCP-XXXX having some unknown anomalous properties that prevent its face from being remembered or described clearly as well as some psychological effect on whoever attempted to do so.
It will always be impossible to describe or remember SCP-XXXX face no matter the format, with the only exception being its smile which will always be described as or compared to the smile of a loved one.
The individual that directly attempted to catch SCP-XXXX image will begin to constantly feel cold and start having visual hallucinations of ice and snow around them no matter the circumstanses or temperature, most individuals affected by this will end up accidentally killing themselves in an attempt to warm up. Personnel affected by this may request termination should they be deemed unnecessary by one or more level 3 researchers assigned to SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX has also demonstrated powerful thermokinesis, easily being able to incinerate or completely freeze a human in mere seconds. This ability has so far only been observed once during the latest and currently last capture attempt as detailed below. It Is seemingly capable of creating large fires and structures of ice in a matter of seconds as well as controlling these effects with great precision.
Addendum: Display of previously unknown thermokinetic abilities.
Incident Log C-5-2
Log Date: 13th January 201█ 11:31:43 hours
Foreword: The following is the fifth and currently final attempt to capture SCP-XXXX. Attempted capture of SCP-XXXX involved using one D-class personnel posing as a camper to lure out the entity, once the entity would appear foundation agents would move in on the entity attempting to subdue and capture it following standard containment protocol. All agents involved in the attempt had previous experiences with both hostile and similarly elusive anomalies.
It took 9 days for the entity to appear once it did foundation agents moved in using snowmobiles to quickly close the distance. Once engaged however the entity displayed a previously unseen level of aggression as well as previously unknown thermokinetik abilities. In a matter of minutes, the entity destroyed/disabled the head mounted cameras and engaged foundation agents in combat.
Begin log:
Command: "Team leader what is going on out there?"
M. Winslow: (Unidentified roar)
Command: "Team leader please respond we can’t see anything from our end!"
M. Winslow: "Shit, fall back! Command we need an extraction right now!"
Command: "What happened?"
M. Winslow: "The thing shoots fire dammit, it incinerated Jack in a matter of seconds, we need help right now!"
Command: "Alright, the extraction team will be there in 15 minutes. We didn’t know it had pyrokinetic abilities, also something is wrong with the cameras we can’t see anything."
M. Winslow: "Goddammit this is a disaster! Command the thing is picking us of one by one and bullets have no effect on it."
Command: "Please describe, what do you mean?"
M. Winslow: "I mean that we keep shooting it and its just standing there. Hang on its doing something- Holy crap! The thing just skewered most of us where the hell is the rescue dammit!"
Command: "Explain… Team leader explain! Marcus do you hear me please explain what’s going on out there?"
End log.Aftermath: 11 minutes after contact was lost the rescue team arrived at the scene to find most of the capture team killed in various gruesome ways. Whilst most of the agents had been burned beyond recognition there were some who had been impaled on large structures of ice and strung up in an almost ritualistic manner. Those not burned had been impaled and strung up in a circle with their limbs outstretched in various ways by the ice as if praying. The remains of the bullets fired at the entity were later recovered having seemingly frozen and shattered on impact.
Only one survivor was found with his body covered in second- and third-degree burns covering roughly 63 percent of his body. Agent Alex Moore spent several months in recovery and underwent several surgeries before being able to fully describe what had happened. He later confirmed that SCP-XXXX did indeed possess thermokinetic abilities and used them to kill the other agents, he also described how the entity propped him up against a tree and made him watch as it strung up the other agents after having burned him, having seemingly deliberately avoided killing him.
Agent A. Moore's description of events seem to suggest that SCP-XXXX kills for some ritualistic purpose and or that it takes some sort of sick pleasure in killing.Until further notice no other attempts to capture SCP-XXXX are to be authorized. Additionally further research is to be focused on the entity’s abilities and reasoning.
