Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in storage locker 82-XXXX on Site 82. Individuals testing SCP-XXXX are to remain on Site 82-A until SCP-XXXX's effects have manifested. Art used in tests involving SCP-XXXX must have been created by Site 82 staff.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a █████-brand refrigerator measuring 0.5m x 0.5m x 1.5m. It contains non-anomalous refrigerator and freezer compartments. When initially contained, several child's drawings were affixed to the doors and one side of SCP-XXXX with fridge magnets and putty adhesive. These were removed and found to be non-anomalous.
The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX are instigated when an individual affixes a piece of art1 SCP-XXXX. When this condition is met, an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will manifest. SCP-XXXX-1 are models made from household objects (most frequently toothpicks) that resemble—or are related to—the subjects of the art affixed to SCP-XXXX. These models function autonomously, replicating the functions of what they represent, despite lacking necessary mechanisms to do so. For example, a model helicopter will fly several meters above the ground despite its lack of motor or pilot. Instances will only remain active while in the presence of at least one individual. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will manifest between 30 minutes and 2 months after a piece of art being placed on SCP-XXXX. They will appear in a location within the living area of the individual who created the piece of art (designated the subject). Since enacting current containment procedures, this area has been defined as Site 82.
