Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be contained within Site 25 in a standard concrete containment cell that is overviewed by camera. SCP-xxxx-1 is not to be in direct contact with any living entity unless for experimental purposes or permitted by staff above Level Two. Personnel entering SCP-xxxx’s cell must wear protective hazard suits unless the lack of such protective gear is required for experimentation via D-Class personnel.
Description: SCP-xxxx is an unremarkable plastic blue cat box containing Tiny Cats brand cat litter. Inside this box is a transparent light blue gel-like substance that assumes a form similar to a tentacle or arm that is seven inches long while dormant, this entity is known as SCP-xxxx-1. SCP-xxxx-1 will stick out vertically out of the cat litter during it’s dormant state.
When any living entity comes close to the front of the SCP-xxxx, scp-xxxx-1 will latch onto the entity. SCP-xxxx-1’s reach limit seems to be twelve feet. What substance makes up SCP-xxxx-1 is still undetermined. When the arm attaches it will drain a fluid or chemical from the living body. What substances SCP-xxxx-1 will drain is seemingly random. Experiments have shown that it is capable of draining blood, water, salt, and extremely small amounts of sodium. Whether these chemicals are required for nutrition or some other process is unknown. This draining process cannot initiate if the subject is wearing thick clothing like sweaters or protective gear. After the process is complete the subject is killed via the heart suddenly stopping. The process lasts at an average of seven seconds. The gel cannot be destroyed or detached from SCP-xxxx. Attempts to cut or burn this gel have yielded no damage or change.
SCP-xxxx was found by field agent █████ when reports of several missing persons came from the town of [DATA REDACTED] in [DATA REDACTED]. After exploring [DATA REDACTED] posed as a police officer, the agent found a derelict building at the edge of town. The agent found the cat box but was killed immediately after looking into it. Investigation reveals that several young adults in [DATA REDACTED] were in the process of attempting to fortify the building but were all killed by SCP-xxxx. In the procees the victims had locked all entrances and exits for secrecy/security and were helpless to SCP-xxxx-1. A MTF arrived soon after █████’s death and took possession of SCP-xxxx before storing it at Site 25 for experimentation.
