SCP-8984: "The Box"

Description

SCP-8984 is in the shape of a cuboid box. The box is 31.415 cm per side, and on one side is a clockwork mechanism with three hands of different lengths and widths. The largest of the hands is diamond shaped, 12.25 cm long with a maximum width of 0.5 cm 3 cm from the outer end. The middle hand is 10 cm long, uniformly .25 cm thick, and the smallest hand is 5 cm long, 0.125 cm thick. There are no numbers on the clock "face", but the hands appear to act similarly to a mundane clock, with the largest being the "seconds", the middle the "minutes" and the smallest the "hours". The box has no noticeable seams or methods to access the inside, except for a small hole which accommodates a post from the clock face. It is also resistant to X-ray and other radiographic methods of analysis. Examination of the post-hole revealed the presence of an unknown chemical, which has been determined to be highly explosive.
