SCP-4454 is contained in a 2 km x 2 km x 2 km containment zone. Due to its nature, it cannot be properly contained and has to be surveyed at all times. SCP-4454's containment zone has to receive moisture through the foundation made rain machine once every 28 hours. In the event of SCP-4454 attempting to escape the containment zone, site guards armed with high powered flamethrowers are commanded to open fire. Firing upon SCP-4454's proximity results in its retreat 90% of the time. However, if SCP-4454 does not retreat project "Heatwave" should be activated.

Description :

SCP-4454 is a humanoid made of a mixture of decomposing biological life , mud and rocks. SCP-4454 stands 2 meters tall and has an estimated weight of 200 kilos. The entity does not have organs, however, it deprives sustenance from moisture. SCP-4454's anomalous abilities consist of :

- Being capable of changing shape and its state of matter from solid to liquid and vice versa. Drawing the moisture out of anything by unknown means

SCP-4454 does not possess higher intelligence, acting like a wild animal. SCP-4454's danger comes in its ability to absorb moisture. The observed range for the ability extends to 50 meters in every direction but downwards. Experiments show the range shortens to 5 meters in the downward direction.
