Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4891 is to be contained in a 12x12 meter tungsten alloy cube, and to be monitored at all times by 3 security personnel. SCP-4981 is to be monitored using multiple infrared cameras and one 20x20 heat-resistant glass window, Only 2 personnel may enter the containment with supervision no personnel are to be allowed into the containment zone. any changes in temperature within the containment zone should be noted, and any structural damage should be reported and repaired immediately.
Description: SCP-4981 appears to be a light blue, translucent orb, the interior of SCP-4891 glows a dark red color, and fluctuates in shape approximately every 5 minutes, normally changing shape from a cube, to a sphere, to a cone. Its diameter measures roughly 80 centimeters, SCP-4981 appears to float 1 meter above any surface it is placed on at all times, even when compressed with a downwards force. So far, no amount of downwards pressure or specialized materials has had the ability to alter the current floating state of SCP-4981 so far.
SCP-4981 was first retrieved after reports of a "huge floating fortune teller ball" were reported in the small town of ████████,██████. Operatives from MTF Beta-7 were deployed immediately to secure the anomaly
Every 30 days, SCP-4981 exhibits abnormal behaviour, normally demonstrated by the SCP beginning to rotate on its z axis at around 500 m/s, and emitting extreme levels of heat recorded to be around 2500 degrees celsius, and begins to release neutrinos at a rate rivalling the sun, during this process, multiple radio waves can also be heard originating from SCP-4891, normally consisting of morse code reading "Help us" or "You are alive because of our sacrifice" these messages are similar to those transcribed from SCP-████. These messages are normally to be ignored, as previous research into the true meaning of the messages has failed (See interview log 4891-1).
If SCP-4891 is disturbed during these events, the rotation will begin to accelerate to 100 m/s, and the heat it emits will increase to 5000 degrees celsius, this reaction was initially provoked by Dr. █████ unintentionally, resulting in their death.
