Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a special anti-gravity room and to be prevented from being in contact with Oxygen. SCP-XXXX will prefer a colder climate opposed to a warmer one. If these procedures are not followed correctly, SCP-XXXX will risk a high chance of death.
Description: SCP-XXXX is not a singular organism, rather, they are considered a species. Their appearance closely resemble that of a Plesiosauria with differences being their forelimbs resembling much closer to that of a platypus, back limb's flippers each separated into two non-webbed toes, two fins sprouting from the shoulder blades connecting to the tail similar to that of a manta ray's, and controllable head appendages functioning as that of a crest, seeming to express their moods. The noises SCP-XXXX makes are quite peculiar, the only way of describing would be an ethereal distant echoing hum.
SCP-XXXX has been tested to be sentient, capable of free will although it is unknown to what extent. They were found floating around another Solar System's milky ways, far away from the one humanity currently resides in, in one space exploration the foundation has funded.
It is assumed that they are ancient beings, possibly having first lived in over 100 millions of years ago, estimated by Dr. ██████ ██████ ███, an expert palaeontologist, head researcher tasked with the study of SCP-XXXX.
Further research on SCP-XXXX is still being conducted.
Addendum: It has been observed that SCP-XXXX show extreme interest with electronic devices, especially those able to access the internet, books, and information. Their head appendage will rise upwards and their hums will change to a much faster frequency, with a much more dilated pupil.
