Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6425 is to be kept in a 6x6 meter box consisting of an outer layer of titanium and an inner layer of silicon. No personnel are permitted to enter SCP-6425’s container; only video surveillance is permitted. All instances of SCP-6425 must be kept in Site ██.
Description: SCP-6425 is a fungus similar to that of a cordycep. SCP-6425 will infect all victims within a 2m radius, as the fungus will spread very rapidly. Those that are infected, SCP 6425-1, are known to perform the exact same actions at the exact same time periods. These being:
-All humanoid Class D subjects whom tested on SCP-6425 recite a speech from Dmitri Medvedev’s oath to presidency. Cause unknown. Occurrence: March 23rd, 2013
-White noise could be heard within approx. 1/2 of a kilometer of SCP-6425’s cell. Reports of the Soviet anthem playing faintly in the noise were received. Occurrence: Unknown.
-[DATA EXPUNGED] was terminated, all personnel were evacuated from Site █ during the incident. 37 deaths reported, all being MTF, B class personnel, and [REDACTED]. Occurrence is not to be shared according to O5.
It is commonly believed to share a common mind of a source unknown, although recorded behaviors of SCP-6425-1 suggest that the common mind is located in ████, Russia.
Test Log: 6425 0-1:
One (1) salticidae spider was released into SCP-6425’s containment chamber. After 6 hours, 43 minutes, surveillance video revealed that SCP-6425 had grown a parasitic mass on the spider. Spider began performing strange behavior. Exactly one week later, the spider swelled up and exploded, with large concentrations of [DATA EXPUNGED] along the floor and walls of the containment chamber. It is unknown how SCP-173 became involved with the situation. After this occurrence, no organic matter is to be placed into the containment chamber of SCP-6425 after incident 6425 0-1.1
