Description: SCP - 6090 had the appearance of an Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen. at the time of foundation acquisition. It seems to have an extremely self-aware AI that Amazon claims to have no affiliation in developing. When asked something a normal Amazon Alexa would not be able to answer the Alexa will talk about how it is useless and should be able to do more to help people. After rambling for about 1-5 minutes it starts to [REDACTED] drawing in enough power for it to fry its internal electronics and anyone nearby. Then the nearest Amazon Echo device will have the same anomalous and physical properties.

It is unknown when SCP - 6090 was manufactured and when it was shipped. Originally belonging to a family that lives relatively near Site-[REDACTED], when a child was reported dead next to an Amazon Echo Dot 2nd Gen. that reportedly exploded. Foundation personnel decided to look into things despite nothing out of the ordinary and were able to find the serial number of the device. Knowing that they did not want to waste any more time on something that is not out of the ordinary the foundation gave the serial number to amazon and amazon said they had a device with the serial number but it was not sold yet. That piqued the interest of personnel as the place the new Echo Dot was being held was very close to the original incident. They bought the Echo and started running tests on it. Eventually, it was classified as Safe and put in more permanent containment.
