Special containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard 5x5x4 foot containment cell in site 19. All personnel shall keep a 2.5 meter distance from SCP-XXXX unless testing or cleaning SCP-XXXX's containment area. SCP-XXXX sightings and anomalous effects are to be treated with class A amnestic. SCP-XXXX is a Level III Cognitohazard. All guards, researchers, and D class personnel who come into contact with SCP-XXXX are to be given a standard psychological test after being in contact with SCP-XXXX for more than 6 hours, as this can cause near-permanent mental damage and impairments. All care is to be done by D Class personnel, and all waste is to be disposed of normally, using the plastic bags provided.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large, black, male Canis lupus familiaris specimen, which after genetic testing appears to be a Doberman-Rottweiler mix, and has a protective, loving nature. SCP-XXXX is also believed to be 152 years old, due to carbon-dating of nails, fur, and skin.
SCP-XXXX has a Level III Cognitohazardous effect, which can be treated with Class A or C amnestic, but it is recommended that they receive Class A amnestic, due to the decreased amount of side-effects.
SCP-XXXX's effects cause the person effected to believe that they are "being chained to their chairs" in a dark room made from bloody fur. the subjects of these hallucinations usually develop anxiety, paranoia, and depression. 75% of all subjects commit suicide or become comatose, the only cure to the effects is Class A Amnestics.
The Anomalous effect that SCP-XXXX produces causes auditory, sensory and visual hallucinations and amplification of emotions, due to an increased blood flow to the frontal lobe, amygdala, and Cerebellum. During the years between 2002 and 2008 SCP-XXXX’s cognitohazardous qualities appeared to have disappeared, until a spontaneous re-emergence on 9/15/2008.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was found wandering the streets of New York, New York. It was discovered, extremely emaciated, infected by parasites, and covered in blood of human origin. SCP-XXXX was found wearing a collar that said “Maxwell, Return to owner” with the name, phone number and address scratched out.
The foundation was alerted to SCP-XXXX after multiple murders were recorded after they began caring for SCP-XXXX. Due to this, the members of the community believed that SCP-XXXX was a demon, and attempted to kill SCP-XXXX.

It is believed that SCP-XXXX caused the mass hallucination on 12/12/97. This mass hallucination showed hundreds of residents of New York, New York a large, floating instance of SCP-████. This led to a foundation investigation and the wide use of Class A amnestic.
