Special Containment Procedures

SCP-XXXX is to be stored inside a 50 meter long by 80 meter tall by 30 meter tall aircraft hangar in Libya. It is to have metal catwalks above the wreck which can be used by Foundation Snipers to terminate any entities produced by the wreck. Any entity more heavily armed than an infantryman is to be terminated using RPGs and, if needed, antitank cannons. All of these materials are to be onsite at all times. Particular care is to be taken during the leadup to the 12th day of every month.

Foundation Personnel are to also be stationed outside the containment chamber in case an entity produced by SCP-XXXX is to escape the containment chamber. If any such entity were to breach containment, they are to be terminated using whatever force is deemed necessary.

The containment chamber is to be checked for damage after the 12th day of the month and repaired before the 12th day of the next month.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is the wreckage of a Messerschmitt Me-323D transport plane. The plane is bare except for its supports and cockpit glass. SCP-XXXX is confirmed to have been shot down by British Fighters while attempting to resupply axis troops in North Africa, leaving no survivors. The wreck's anomalous properties were discovered in 19██ by a Foundation agent working for the British Military, at which point it was transferred to Foundation custody (for more information on the object’s initial discovery, see Addendum XXXX-01).

On the 12th day of every month, the aircraft engines will start running¹ even though they are confirmed to be in non-operational condition. If said engines are removed from the object, a new engines will appear through anomalous means. About 2 hours later, entities that resemble German military units from WW2 will disembark from the wreck. These units can vary from Light Infantry Squads to Heavy Armor. The amount of units discharged is confirmed to be usually far beyond the carrying capacity of this type of aircraft.

All In a vast majority of cases, entities are confirmed as being hostile to the foundation and will try to breach containment. These entities seem to possess no known anomalous properties, except that they never run out of ammunition or fuel for vehicles.

Once incapitated/ terminated, these entities will begin to emit an as of yet unknown form of yellow light for 5 seconds. They will then appear to disappear and are not detectable by any known means.

The meaning behind the 12th day of the month is as of yet unknown. However, British records taken after the war indicate that a Me-323D transport plane matching SCP-XXXXs description was shot down over the Mediterranean Sea on May 12, 194█.

Addendum XXXX-01:
Below is an Audio Log between Agent █████ who Discovered SCP-XXXX and Doctor ████ about the initial discovery of SCP-XXXX.

Interviewed: Agent █████

Interviewer: Doctor ████

Dr. ████: Hello Agent █████. Please sit down. As you may already know, you will be answering questions about your initial discovery of SCP-XXXX. How do you become first become aware of SCP-XXXX?

Agent █████: I was on a mission with the British Army at the time in Libya. As I went through some of the villages, I began to hear stories about villages in Libya being attacked by what seemed to be Nazi soldiers. I initially brushed this off as a sort of legend, since the Second World War had ended decades prior. However, it became apparent to me that it could be something more than this when ██ villages in the area reported similar occurrences.

Dr. ████: When did you discover the physical location of the object?

Agent █████: At one of the local villages I traveled to, one of the village elders pointed me to a location he said the troops originated from. I managed to convince the officer in charge that I needed to use one of their Reconnaissance aircraft for important military related business. I had my doubts, but I soon discovered the location of the wreck. It was among several other assorted German aircraft from the time period. I decided to touch down the aircraft and examine the object.

Dr. ████: What did you notice about the object?

Agent ████: I noticed that the ‘engines’ of the aircraft were running. I could tell that they were not the original engines due to them being on the ground. I was not able to inspect the object much as soon after I landed the entities appeared.

**Dr. ████: **Please describe the entities?

**Agent ████: **They were soldiers with German uniforms on them. They were armed with sub-machine guns and bolt-action rifles from the time period. There was also the presence of a Panzer III Medium tank behind said soldiers.

Dr. ████: Please describe what happened next.

**Agent ████: **The soldiers immediately started shooting at me. I was grazed in the arm by a submachine gun bullet. I started to run. I managed to destroy one of the engines attached to the object. In the carnage, one of the objects engines was destroyed. I contacted the Foundation and armed recovery teams were sent out to recover the object and terminate any remaining troops.

Dr. ████: Thank you for your time. Agent, you are dismissed.

Addendum XXXX-02:

Incident XXXX-A

On April 12, 2019, SCP-XXXX began it's regular process of disembarking troops. Thirty minutes after noon, 30 riflemen disembarked from SCP-XXXX and began firing at foundation security personnel. All entities except one were terminated in ██ minutes. This final entity proceeded to remove his firearm and surrendered to foundation security staff. This behavior is markedly different from the actions of other entities, which are not known to surrender under any circumstance. The entity was renamed PoI-712-XXXX and was placed under foundation custody.

Below is an Audio Log taken of an interview with PoI-712-XXXX and Researcher Oliver. The interview was translated from German to English with the help of an onsite translator.

Interviewed: PoI-712-XXXX

Interviewer: Researcher Oliver

Foreword: It is hoped that PoI-712-XXXX will discuss exactly why he surrendered to foundation security personnel and will discuss the origin of the entities produced by SCP-XXXX.

Researcher Oliver: Good morning PoI-712-XXXX. Today you will be answering some questions regarding your surrender and the nature of SCP-XXXX.

**PoI-712-XXXX: Oh is that what the transport that carried us into this place is called. I am still a bit unused to it being called that.

Researcher Oliver: How exactly did you come here?

PoI-712-XXXX: Well we were equipping ourselves up from our base in [REDACTED], Italy. Now I was really excited to go. I wasn't originally supposed to go with them you know.

Researcher Oliver: Please elaborate.

PoI-712-XXXX: Well you see, I was originally stationed on that base just to serve on guard duty in case any enemies of the Reich were to sneak in and try to sabotage our base. However it was boring and uneventful and I longed for action. I longed to look at those who had disrespected our fatherland down my rifle sights and pull the trigger. I was finally able to pester the commanding officer enough that he finally sent me on this flight with a bunch of other soldiers. Probably wanted me out of his hair.

Researcher Oliver: Who were the other soldiers on the plane?

PoI-712-XXXX: Oh they were crack SS troops. They were top of the line, all business sort of people. I figured I was in good hands.

Researcher Oliver: Please explain what happened after you entered the plane.

PoI-712-XXXX: Well the doors shut and we took off in route to Libya, or so one of the ground crewman told me. The flight over there was mostly uneventful until about two hours into the flight.

Researcher Oliver: What happened?

PoI-712-XXXX: Well all hell broke loose. Gun fire began to ring out. I looked out the window and saw a British Hawker Hurricane fighter firing bullets at our gunners and engines. Our gunners were outmatched and quickly succumbed. I looked and saw our left wing was on fire and then all of our engines died. We began to descend and it looked like we would land on the water. But as soon as we touched, we got transported right here.

Researcher Oliver: Explain the emotions of the other soldiers.

PoI-712-XXXX: Everyone was confused. However, we figured these were the British that we were tasked to fight. So we opened fire.

Researcher Oliver: Explain why you surrendered.

PoI-712-XXXX: Well I released how hopeless outmatched I was. I released during the engagement that the enemy was using very highly advanced technology. I was simply no match and I decided to end the engagement before I was killed.

Researcher Oliver: Thank you for your cooperation. Guards, please escort PoI-712-XXXX back to his holding cell.

Closing Statement: It appears that if PoI-712-XXXX is correct that SCP-XXXX may be a Transport to an alternate reality that is stuck in a time loop. His surrender may also have to do with PoI-712-XXXX not belonging to the SS unit that was sent in. More entities will need to be questioned in order to further reinforce these assertions however.

Shortly after this interview, PoI-712-XXXX was escorted back to his holding cell. Further questioning of PoI-712-XXXX is ongoing.

Addendum XXXX- 04:

Incident XXXX-B:

On November 17th, 2019, with approval from the O5 council, Foundation Security Personnel decided to attempt to terminate SCP-XXXX using approximately ██ explosive charges designed for use in demolition. This decision came because of increased frustration at the amount of foundation resources being used for SCP-XXXXs containment. The charges were set and foundation personnel retreated to a safe location located about 10 meters away from the object and detonated the charges. The explosion did no visual damage to the SCP-XXXX and as a result, SCP-XXXX expelled Two Panzer VIII Maus Super heavy Tanks immediately after the explosion had occurred. This was despite the fact that it was not the normal time for said entities to be produced. The tanks managed to breach containment by destroying the doors to their containment chamber and managed to escape the facility. All residents pf villages within a ██ meter area of the site were evacuated. When questioned, they were informed that it was because of a large sandstorm. Foundation aerial units were dispatched and were able to successfully terminate the entitles using Air-to-Surface missiles. A total of ██ foundation Personnel were killed during the incident.

A request to reclassify SCP-XXXX as Keter has been rejected by the O5 Council.
