" ̈The Talking Orb "

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP #### is to remain in a confined room of 10 by 10 meters in length, and made solid steel, at a constant temperature (as it prefers) of 20 celsius at all times unless requested by SCP ####, in which case the room must not exceed temperatures of 100 celsius or more without administrative authorization. If the room drops below 0c or more all personnel are to stay at least 1 mile from the room. If the room drops to 0 celsius only 2 researchers with administrative authorization accompanied by one through five class C personnel armed with shock rifles are cleared to enter the chamber of SCP-####. The instance that occurs when the room is below 0c is known as I-####-DZ or Instance #### Death Zone.
Only C class personnel are cleared to enter the room and speak with the entity unless cleared by the director and must stay one yard away from the entity unless permitted by SCP-#### to approach. No physical contact is to be made with the SCP until further tests are taken on the radiation emission of SCP-####. Only class A personnel are permitted to communicate with SCP-#### with at least two(2) or more accompanying class C or higher personnel.
Any personnel who can communicate with SCP-#### outside of the room must report this immediately and the containment cell is to be checked for cracks or openings that were not reported by SCP-####
itself. All personnel that could not connect psychologically will have their memory wiped and mental therapy and study to be conducted on them. They are not to enter the same facility as SCP-#### without director clearance or permission from SCP-####.
Description:
SCP-#### is a sphere made of a smooth alien substance that is of a rusty color. The substance is not rusted metal however as proven by the scans made on SCP-####. The sphere has a small blue obtrusion that is supposedly the eye of SCP-####. The Sphere is very sentient and has been proven to have an IQ around 283 and brags on occasion that it was the human who entered the answers for it clicking on the answers to slow. Any creatures capable of intelligent thought that enter the room goes through a psychological scan by SCP-#### and any creatures it perceives as ̈the less intelligent of its race ̈ go through a complete mental state of incapacity with the only thing the entity can do is respirate and other needed functions for survival. Any creature that passes the evaluation is capable of communicating mentally with the orb with polite conversation. Any aggression or threats in the chamber causes SCP-#### to cause any and all creatures that commit to the following acts cease to live via mental shut down.
The orb is capable of speaking in any form of linguistics including: english, spanish, french ,latin ,chinese ,morse code and all others. The Orb claims its name is “Syandiir Duurkind Omthalfeur” but allows pronouns and “Sandy” or “Sandy the floating ball” for comic appeal it claims. Any instances when a creature calls SCP-#### something other than:SCP-####, ####, Sandy, or Syandiir Duurkind Omthalfeur, results in #### warning the offender mentally after the first two offences and a spike of ̈a searing pain in the brain.̈ after the first five offences the orb will kill the offender with a mental shut down.
SCP-#### was discovered in Moscow, Russia, [Date Redacted] in a Warehouse located [Redacted]. The SCP has amassed a cult that it later claimed was unwanted and almost at the point where he killed them all. The cult was dispatched and no witnesses escaped.
Addendum:
An instance of [I-####-DZ] occurred in which the SCP killed every living creature with thought within one mile of its position via brain death. The personality of SCP-#### was recorded to have changed in the prior time to the instance when the SCP pleaded for them not to go through with the procedure. During the procedure the SCP began to change color from bronze to blackish and his eye bulb became red. Agent Fredric Samuel the fifth reported a voice in his head demanding for him to approach the instance. He denied and so the voice ceased to talk to him.
Doctor notes on SCP-#### [̈#### seems to be suffering from a form of split personality disorder that is triggered by drastic temperature changes. Every time this instance occurs the death zone radius pushes forward like whatever other thing is in that orb really hates living things and if this instance gets out of hand it very well could be the end of the world. Well intelligent world as it may be]
Addendum:
The Founder has taken an interest in SCP-#### and will often spend hours with it playing board games or talking. The Founder also has played several RPG style games such as Call of Cthulhu, Dungeons and dragons, and Pathfinder.. The SCP was given gifts on various occasions as well from the founder such as a set of dice, several role playing game sets, an ornate chess set, and a Computer with administrative access. These objects are stored in a corner of the containment cell that SCP-#### makes sure that nothing gets within arms length of.

Addendum: SCP URGENT NOTES
SCP-#### is able to foresee cataclysmic or dangerous situations such as containment breaches, major events, and the end of the world. This was discovered by a Class A personnel who asked SCP-### how his day was and SCP-#### responded with “Oh just fine dear fellow, oh by the way 682 is going to breach in 23 minutes and 12 seconds. I do hope not to many of you perish.”another instance was on the Founders weekly four hour visit to the chamber for game night when Agent James family was describing a post-apocalyptic end of the world scenario and SCP-#### responded with ̈ just like real life.¨ SCP-#### is now to be used for its foresight for detecting SCP breaches and recovering unreported SCPs, as well as life threatening events such as natural catastrophes and preventable disasters

[Date Redacted] SCP-#### appears to be drawing an accurate sketch of a robotic humanoid body that may allow it to control this body. This body is under construction and will most likely be confiscated.
[Date Redacted] The robotic body seems to be functional but cannot be tested until further notice. The body will be classified SCP-####-A. Any further blueprints will be kept in storage.
[Date Redacted] A board meeting has decided to add a failsafe to destabilize the body before a breach can occur.
[Date Redacted] The SCP was given access to the body and has fit into a socket in the head and is able to control this body as it should.

9/13/[Year Redacted]: The orb cult attempted to break the SCP out of its cell by laying siege to the holding facility where it was kept. It inevitably failed. The SCP said it had no part in the siege. This will not be counted as an escape attempt unless proven due to founders trust in SCP-####
One of the cultists was taken in for questioning.
Doctor [Redacted]: Hello, I am [Redacted] and I am going to ask you a few questions. First of all, who are you?
[Name Redacted]: My name is irrelevant to my servings to the great one from the stars!
Doctor [Redacted]: You mean ####… You mean the orb?
[Name Redacted]: Yes, I do. The all knowing orb of prophecy. It foretells of the end, the tentacles that come forth and shred the earth into primal matter. It will warn us of this day, we must prepare for the end.
Doctor [Redacted]: You are aware that if you break the orb out of here it could hurt people, and if you spread the word people will panic and the end will be closer than you think.
[Name Redacted]: I don't understand. The orb would have told us so we may prevent this.
Doctor [Redacted]: Next. Did the orb start the cult or did humans start it
[Name Redacted]: I was told by my superiors that the Orb began it but the orb himself told me that this was not true.
Doctor [Redacted]: When!?!
[Name Redacted]: A few years back, on request of course.
Doctor [Redacted]: Next question then. What are some of your beliefs around this cul… religion?
[Name Redacted]: We follow the one true god Sandy who prophesied the great future of the world to come. We believe that if we follow the path of the orb we can save the world from impending doom.

3/26/[Date Redacted]: SCP-#### attempts to breach facility with the metal body.
Breach notes;
9:34 AM: SCP-#### begins to turn towards a corner of the room and stares for 28 minutes, as if looking or hearing something from past the wall.
10:06 AM: A noise similar to an air release valve is heard from SCP-####. This goes unnoticed for 45 minutes.
10:48-9 AM: Personnel notice the noise coming from SCP and decide to investigate. They find that they do not have the correct numbers and classes, they then attempt to find personnel that will allow them to investigate.
10:51 AM: An evacuation warning is issued to the facility, the monitoring system picked up a cold spike in SCP-####'s room and warned the facility about the SCP-####-DZ. All personnel evacuate to a safe distance.
11:25 AM: SCP-#### is able to "rip the door of the holding cell down" and escapes. Evacuated personnel are alerted of this and prepare a blockade
12:09 AM: Blockade of all possible exits is complete.
12:16 AM: SCP-#### manages to escape facility and pushes past blockade.
12:45 AM: 05-Failsafe is activated
1:03 PM: SCP-#### is located, floating 2 meters from a pile of ash that appears to be the mechanical body. SCP-#### claims that the body malfunctioned and the [Material Redacted] caused him to enter SCP-####-DZ. This was disproven. SCP-#### is to have a new holding cell that is much stronger in the keter section.
[Date Redacted]: SCP-#### is to be reclassified as keter and all RPG games are to be canceled.
