Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-4156 is to be kept in a locked container at all times. When Personnel enter SCP-4156’s container there must be no contact with the object all times, Personnel must also wear noise-canceling headphones with built in microphones due to the SCP’s ability to hypnotise through sound. All Personnel that make contact with SCP-4156 is to be terminated immediately.
Description: SCP-4156 is a dark grey spherical ball, It has a metallic covering reflecting only light, any objects or humans placed in close proximity to SPC-4156 seem to have no reflection. SCP-4156 convinces it’s victims to touch it by supposedly using sounds that can be heard only in a small range. It may also use images that appear in SCP-4156’s reflections.
In the event of making contact with SCP-4156 accidentally or purposely the victim will immediately fall to the ground in a paralysis like state. (They are now referred as SCP-4156-2) They will remain in this state for approximately 2 hours. Once they regain all control over their body they will either go into two states, 1 SCP-4156-2 will enter a rage where their only objective is to die. 2 SCP-4156-2 will enter a state where their only objective is to kill all living things around them. SCP-4156-2 can be identified by minor twitching in the arms and legs as well as a dark purple shade in SCP-4156-2’s eyes.
If SCP-4156 somehow manages to fall off it’s stand it must be placed back on its stand using a small bomb defusing like robot. If no robot is available a long metal pole with a cup in the middle must be used. SCP-4165 is reported to be very heavy.
Addemdum 4156: Discovery
SCP-4156 was discovered in the small town of ██████ at ██:██pm after there was reports of 12 people killing them selves and others randomly after entering ██████‘s local pawn shop. After 3 years of investigating, The Foundation located SCP-4156 and contained it at site-██ where it is currently being held. During the relocation and capture of SCP-4156 there was 11 Personnel deaths and 2 deaths of curious civilians.
