Item #: SCP-5870 "The indestructible archive"

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5870 is currently located at Site-45 in the D-Block and awaiting further testing and research. Only personnel with clearance of Level-4, higher or granted by the Site director can test or research SCP-5870.
Description: SCP-5870 is a (40 cm) x (2 cm) x (25 cm) transparent touch screen made out of (apparently) unbreakable glass that appears to be hovering over a (42 cm) x (4 cm) x (2 cm) pedestal (from now on reffered to as SCP-5870-1) that consists of unknown metal and electronics. SCP-5870-1 appears to have a car battery duct taped and wired to it, possibly being the power source. SCP-5870 has been found at 2004 in Mount Hope, Antarctica. More specifically, in Mount Hopes cave system by MTF - X. The SCP-5870 can be removed from SCP-5870-1, acting like magnets - when SCP-5870 is in range of 8 cm within SCP-5870-1, it starts to pull itself onto its original place. It appears that SCP-5870 has a software that consists of list of all the anomalous objects that are currently known to the foundation, upadating with every new report - we are still unsure how does SCP-5870 get this information. (Object class tweak pending - see Addendum - 1)
Addendum - 1: "We have asked for it's class tweak from Safe to Safe/Thaumiel because that thing has all the SCP documents saved on it plus it's constantly upadating. Maybe we could use it as an archive? However, it would be a great weapon in bad hands… I'm afraid that O5's will want it destoryed, bad thing it is indestructible." Dr. [REDACTED] "Fox"

Addendum - 2: Clearance for heavy weaponry testing is currently pending at Research and Development Director: Dr. Geoffrey Babel.
Addendum - 3: Dr. [Redacted] "Shaman" is from now on prohibited of testing SCP-5870. Just do not let him shoot that thing, he can go crazy with weapons.
