Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Entities:

SCP-XXXX-A
SCP-XXXX-A-1 (Euclid)
SCP-XXXX-B
SCP-XXXX-B-1

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX-A & SCP-XXXX-B:

SCP-XXXX-A must be contained in a concrete box, 10x15x10 meters. The walls of the box are 0.5m thick with 1 window at the front of the box looking into the front of the SCP.
Guards stand at all 4 sides of the box and another guard has to keep a constant look through the window for any changes or anything else coming through SCP-XXXX-A.
The inhabitants of Fonte Boa were told that there is an ongoing investigation and warned to not investigate themselves. Any people found near SCP-XXXX-A will be interrogated and if they
witnessed nothing of value will be sent back home with a warning.
SCP-XXXX-B has to be monitored at all times. As SCP-XXXX-B is underwater, making a concrete box around it is extremely difficult, instead, a boat is used with massive radio wave sensors on the bottom. Radio waves are sent down to the bottom of the ocean and then bounce off the ocean floor and return to the radio wave sensors, this doesn't give an image of SCP-XXXX-B as it doesn't have a physical form but does allow the people on the boat to be able to detect anything coming in or out of SCP-XXXX-B. Fishing boats are not permitted in the area of SCP-XXXX-B. If divers are caught in the area then they will be taken aboard the boat and interrogated in the same manner as the people of Fonte Boa. A team of divers must be present on the boat at all times. These divers are used to stop anything coming into contact with SCP-XXXX-B. There are 2 boats which are used in rotation. These boats will swap every 2 weeks so that they can stock up on food, water, and change crew.

SCP-XXXX-A-1:

SCP-XXXX-A-1 is contained in Site-19 and is to be kept in a locked container at all times. It is fed on a diet of pure vegetables although it is believed that SCP-XXXX-A-1 is an omnivore.

SCP-XXXX-B-1

SCP-XXXX-B-1 is contained in site 45. SCP-XXXX-B-1 is kept in a glass tank with an open top for feeding similar to most tanks at any aquarium. It is believed that SCP-XXXX-B-1 is a carnivore and must be fed on a diet of fish.

Description:

SCP-XXXX-A is found near the Brazilian town of Fonte Boa in the Amazon rain forest. SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a patch of light hovering approximately 0.4m off the ground. The source of the light is unknown. SCP-XXXX-A can be viewed from all angles and entered from all angles. when coming into contact with SCP-XXXX-A no apparent damage is done, instead, they will walk through and not reappear on the other side. It is not clear where people go when they step through SCP-XXXX-A as no volunteers who have gone through have come back. Shortly after SCP-XXXX-A was contained SCP-XXXX-A-1 appeared inside the containment zone.
SCP-XXXX-A-1 is a spider that is the same size as a fully-grown Labrador. It resembles a false widow spider. The origin of SCP-XXXX-A-1 is unknown but it is assumed that whatever is on the other side of SCP-XXXX-A is where it came from. SCP-XXXX-A-1 was moved to Site-19 after it had appeared inside SCP-XXXX-A's container, this prompted the building of a window looking into SCP-XXXX-A to identify any more creatures coming through. SCP-XXXX-A-1 is believed to be an omnivore but is fed vegetables and fruit as meat is prioritized for other SCPs. SCP-XXXX-A-1's container must be cleared out regularly as the webs it builds can obstruct the view of any surveillance of the container. SCP-XXXX-A-1 doesn't appear to be violent but is assumed that it would be if it wasn't fed properly. So far no incidents have occurred involving SCP-XXXX-A-1 and since it was contained within 3 days after it appeared through SCP-XXXX-A not much is known about SCP-XXXX-A-1 in the wild.
SCP-XXXX-B is the exact same as SCP-XXXX-A the only difference being that it is underwater in the Indian Ocean. Nothing can be said about SCP-XXXX-B that hasn't already been said about SCP-XXXX-A. It is believed that on the other side of SCP-XXXX-B is water, because if SCP-XXXX is a portal then if the other side was above water it would act as a plug with water from the Indian ocean flowing into SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-B-1 is a Helicoprion, a prehistoric shark which had a jaw that spiraled around. Since these are extinct it is now believed that these portals either go to the past or go to a parallel universe in which these creatures didn't go extinct. SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-A, however, don't go to the same time zone as Helicoprions come from the early Permian but massive insects/bugs were more common in the Silurian period. If this is the case then SCP-XXXX-A-1 is a new species of extinct spider from the Silurian period. SCP-XXXX-A-1 and SCP-XXXX-B-1 are now being prioritized for research rather than containment as they both are seemingly docile and are now both deemed as scientific breakthroughs.
