Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Description: SCP-4XXX is a combination of two objects that are sharing the same quantum state. It changes appearance depending which eye is used to view it. When viewed trough the right eye takes the appearance of an ordinary kettle made of stainless steel designated SCP-4XXX-1 with no identifying features. When viewed trough the left eye SCP-4XXX takes the appearance of a standard household refrigerator designated SCP-4XXX-2 with no identifying marks. When SCP-4XXX enters the field of view of a human or a person gets within a 5 meters radius of it it will forcibly close one of the eyes of the human by unknown means. If both eyes are opened forcibly by mechanical means it will cause [DATA EXPUNGED] of the brain rendering the person immediately brain dead.
