Special Containment Procedures:: Due to SCP-5487's nature, a permanent containment perimeter is impossible to set up. However, temporary perimeters made up from titanium walls, at least 5-10 inches thick. can be made in order to keep the public away from SCP-5487. No personnel are allowed within 50 meters of an instance of SCP-5487 without protective equipment made out of SCP-████ and plastic.
Personnel that have made contact with SCP-5487 will be referred to as SCP-5148-1 and must immediately be terminated.
Description:: SCP-5487 is a series of structures appearing in ██████, ████ and south █████, In ████████. these structures can take shape as telephone lines, windmills, water towers and wind turbines. These structures have been recorded to be able of vanishing (or digging into the ground) without a single trace whatsoever. SCP-5487 has also been confirmed to be organic, using traces of █████ as an example to prove this. (See Addendum-2.)
When exposed to SCP-5487, it will release a dark, red, radioactive mist made out of unknown materials (Similar of that to SCP-████). upon contact with this mist, the subject will begin to experience mental and physical changes, these include but not limited to: Growth of extra limbs, Growth of spikes, Height or Weight expansion, increased strength, and extreme hostility.
Any instances of SCP-5487-1 must be terminated immediately. They also appear to attack and hunt each-other. (See Addendum-1). Some instances of SCP-5487-1 can also grow thermal-like growths that can spread said mist.
Addendum - 1 :
Test Log - A: Two Class-D personnel (Named D1 and D2 respectively) have been ordered to approach an instance of SCP-5487.
4:30PM, ███████: Both subjects approach SCP-5487-0.
4:35PM: A drone (DA) is released to keep a track off D1 and D2.
4:38PM: Both subjects reach SCP-5487-0, and the structure releases its mist.
4:43PM: D1 and D2 begin to transform. D1 Grows 2 extra arms and become a dark green-like colour, D2 Grows spike-like thorns and becomes a light yellow.
4:46PM: D1 proceeds to grab D2 by his arms, and tears them off, which releases a brown-fleshy substance. More testing is required to test this substance.
4:49PM: D2 suddenly explodes violently, releasing a solidified form of █████ over 100 meters away from self, █████
4:50PM: D1 is terminated by MTF forces ████ and ████. SCP-5487-0 vanishes.
Notes.: Further testing required to see if SCP-5847-0 is connected to SCP-████.
Addendum-2: **After the events of Addendum-1, we decide to test a sample of ████ to find out its components.
████, (Now known as SCP-5487-2) Is brought to the facility by MTF Beta-7 Units. SCP-5487-2 is put on a steel █████. SCP-5487-2 begins to leak over the █████ and liquidfy. Personnel who made contact with the liquid form of SCP-5487-2 began to feel burning in their legs to the point where they became immobile weeks after the event. SCP-5487 proceeds to injure ██ personnel for around █ weeks. This incident upgraded SCP-5487 from Euclid to Keter. It is unknown if SCP-5487 is made from said material.
