Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is allowed free roam of Containment Site ███. SCP-XXXX's containment quarters are to be furnished with a bed, bookshelf, reading desk, and separate room for relieving biological needs.

Any requests for improvements upon SCP-XXXX's containment quarters and/or requests for personal items must be approved by personnel of Level 3 clearance or higher. All requests SCP-XXXX has made have been compiled into a single list (See Addendum XXXX-4).

SCP-XXXX requires the sustenance of a regular human and is allowed use of the Site's Cafeteria Room.

All biological samples of SCP-XXXX are to be held at Biological Containment Site ███.

Description: SCP-XXXX regularly appears as a male caucasian humanoid of seemingly Russian descent. SCP-XXXX measures approximately 1.6 meters tall, and appears to be of pubescent age though, due to its anomalous effects, its appearance may vary drastically.

SCP-XXXX is capable of completely or partially altering its genome at will. To achieve this, SCP-XXXX seems to need to absorb or assimilate approximately (x%) of any given organism. It is worth noting that SCP-XXXX's assimilation extends to the specific organism it absorbs, gaining memories, as well as physical and genetic deformities of an organism it has assimilated and subsequently mimicked. These include scars, defective or damaged organs, and genetically inherited diseases. SCP-XXXX is also capable of manifesting the properties of multiple organisms simultaneously. So far, the only known methods of halting SCP-XXXX's abilities is by subjecting SCP-XXXX to temperatures of -28°C (-18.4°F) or less, as well as low Hume levels. It is unknown how many organisms SCP-XXXX has assimilated, though researchers have documented all forms SCP-XXXX has taken so far (see Addendum XXXX-1). SCP-XXXX appears to not undergo senescence, as biological tests have concluded that it has not aged since it has been in Foundation custody.

Though the exact process of SCP-XXXX's rapid mutation is currently unknown, it is speculated that SCP-XXXX is able to produce stem cells en masse, as well as progenitor cells, which are then capable of differentiating into different types of cells, replicating genomes that SCP-XXXX has previously assimilated.

SCP-XXXX exhibits emotions consistent with those of a standard human male of its apparent age, having experienced moments of anger, joy, sadness, and curiosity. SCP-XXXX has show interest in interacting with other sentient, sapient, or otherwise amicable SCP's as well as assisting the Foundation in containing dangerous SCP's which may pose a serious threat to human life.

It is currently unknown whether SCP-XXXX can replicate anomalous properties as part of its assimilation, as Experiment ██████, which would provide such information, has not yet been approved.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on 7 ███████ 1981, after a Global Occult Coalition raid on a remote Soviet Union research station in Northern Siberia where SCP-XXXX was being held. Distress signals from the station intended for a remote extraction team were intercepted by the Foundation, at which point, Mobile Task Force ███-█ was deployed.

Agents of ███-█ report the facility containing various rooms used to facilitate the research, development, and training of SCP-XXXX. Such rooms include a 3x3x3 meter all-white room, furnished with only a white bed, toilet, and sink.

Addendum XXXX-1:

  • 7 ███████ 1981 - Members of Mobile Task Force ███-█ report SCP-XXXX growing 6 additional arms prior to shedding all its head hair and manifesting several eyes on its scalp. SCP-XXXX then proceeds to sprint using its 2 hind legs and all 8 arms at around 7 m/s.
  • 7 ███████ 1981 - SCP-XXXX's left arm was reported to grow in mass approximately 50% before manifesting claws, which upon review of video footage and further testing, are assumed to belong to an East Siberian brown bear (Ursus arctos collaris). SCP-XXXX then proceeded to attack a Soviet researcher utilizing its newly mutated left arm.
  • 7 ███████ 1981 - SCP-XXXX's jaw was reported to open to an inhuman size, tearing the flesh at the sides of its mouth in the process, before using its mouth to completely envelop and violently tear off the head of a Global Occult Coalition member who had unloaded his firearm into SCP-XXXX.
  • 22 ████████ 1981 - During an interview with Dr. Vogt (see Addendum XXXX-3), SCP-XXXX was asked to demonstrate its abilities. SCP-XXXX's face then proceeded to split into two along a vertical line in the middle, appearing to create a large vertical mouth with large incisor teeth.
  • It was decided to cease documentation of SCP-XXXX's forms unless explicitly stated by a member of SCP-XXXX's research team or if SCP-XXXX displayed any new anomalous properties.
