The following SCP entry have been approved by the Overseer council to be disclosed for training purposes of new staff members.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the collective designation for several interrelated anomalous phenomena.
The cause of disorder in this document is not due to any special properties of the SCP, but is merely the results of all the unfortunate circumstances that caused an unusual longer period of time between the discovery of each entry in this set.
Item #: SCP-XXXX-2 (Originally thought to be SCP-XXXX-1)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 displays no means of self-locomotion or malicious intent at this time, and requires only minimal containment.
Description: SCP-XXXX-2 is the designation used to describe the manifestations created by SCP-XXXX-1.
When an instances of SCP-XXXX-2 manifests itself, it takes the the shape of a children's nightmare standing on top of a wooden plate. The wood have been tested to be the same type as SCP-XXXX-1.
The shape and size varies for each instance created, and have so far been measured between the size of 502 CM. up to 72 M. It s unknown at this point if there is a limit in size.
SCP-XXXX-2's main body composition is made of a unknown black substance that behaves closely in a similar manner as rubber, with the exception of air being freely able to pass through it unhinged.
The surface of this substance is 5 cm in thickness from any point, with the inside being hollow.
Further tests for the purpose of finding alternative uses have been approved.
Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX-2
3 Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 were created before MTF Agent ████████ recognized having seen SCP-XXXX-1 previously. Not only at the previous sites, but also recollected that he himself had at one point owned SCP-XXXX-1.
In the follow-up report made by Agent ████████, he stated that "SCP-XXXX-1 is most likely the direct motivation that eventually made me chose this path in my career".
The trophy created during his ownership was swiftly retrieved by the foundation.
Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX-2
Interviews regarding SCP-XXXX-1 have lead to the discovery of additionally 637 confirmed instances of SCP-XXXX-2.
Addendum 3: SCP-XXXX-2
Search for additional instances of SCP-XXXX-2 is currently a low priority.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed within a containment room decorated as that of a childrens bedroom.
Entry to the contaiment chamber, with the purpose of using its ability, is only permitted following an interview with the on site psychiatric staff. Followed up by 2 additional interviews with the psychiatric staff and the researchers assigned to the SCP after the completion of use.
Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 is a 61 × 12 inch floor lamp made of wood in the shape of a toy soldier, with the lamp taking the place of the riffle. It is originally estimated to have been manufactured in the early 40's. There bottom of the lamp have been engraved with the mark of Doctor Wondertainments.
When a human subject sleeps and enters the REM stage while in the presence of SCP-XXXX-1, their body begins to emit a white dense mist of gas that blankets the entire body.
As the subject sleeps, the mist slowly starts to turn darker in shade. The speed of this darkening of the mist various from subject to subject.
Once the mist have turned fully black, it will move to whirl around the light bulb of SCP-XXXX-1, where it will then start the process of being turned solid into another instance of SCP-XXXX-2.
If the subject have reached above their teenage years. The mist will emerge, but will stop darkening at the halfway point. Unless the mist is being contained, it will dispatch in the air without a trace.
Any tests regarding SCP-XXXX-1's ability to manifest objects without a sleeping subject is to be discussed with SCP-XXXX-3 in advance.
Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX-1
Shortly after the retrieval of SCP-XXXX-1, there was a containment breach.
Due to the combination of the overseers death and the early stage of SCP-XXXX-1 retrieval, no research team had yet been assigned. So the SCP were simply forgotten in storage.
It was only due to the discovery of an unaccounted letter next to SCP-XXXX-1, eight (8) months later that the new overseers were made aware of the SCP.
Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX-1
It is estimated that about 4% of all MTF applications the foundation receive by people who were children within the known time frame of SCP-XXXX-1's "pre- discovery period" are made by former owners of SCP-XXXX-1.
Addendum 3: SCP-XXXX-1
The mist can be blown away from the body and sucked into a containment tank.
Tests reveals that doing so will make the subjects body feel as if they had a restless night.
In cases where the subject were below the age of 13, this procedure was not able to stop the creation of another instance of SCP-XXXX-2 and caused Incident Log XXXX-1B.
Addendum 4:SCP-XXXX-1
The procedure mentioned in addendum 3:SCP-XXXX-1 is only to be allowed on 3 conditions.
- The storage have no more gas containers with the substance.
- The subject is above the age of 13.
- The subject have volunteered.
Addendum 5: SCP-XXXX-1
To date, all Subject interviewed after testing SCP-XXXX-1, seems to have had an encounter with SCP-XXXX-3 within their dream.
Addendum 6: SCP-XXXX-2
Dr. ████████ have been re-asigned and banned from working on SCP-XXXX-1 after his test proposal was voted down by the ethics committee with the words.
"Even if we don't know if there is a lower age limit, the idea that we perform ANY test with infants with ANY SCP… even the most harmless ones, should be grounds for a psychiatrist evaluation."
Subject who have been using SCP-XXXX-1 have in the followup interviews all stated to meet
SCP-XXXX-3 within their dreams induced by SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-3 refers to himself as "Sir Jacob Theodore Crane" (SCP-XXXX-3). Although his appearance is in similar style as that of SCP-XXXX-1, he denies being the personification of SCP-XXXX-1.
