Members of MTF Epsilon-7 awaiting transportation for multiple deceaced instances of SCP-XXXX-C. Censored due to non-essential disturbing imagery.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently considered uncontained as an unknown number of affected populations exist outside of containment. MTF Epsilon-7, "Grendel's Lackeys", has been formed for the purpose of locating, and containing or neutralizing populations affected by SCP-XXXX. All live instances of SCP-XXXX-1 not actively being used in experimentation are to be contained in the primary population, located in Provisional Area-XXXX-A.

Provisional Area-XXXX-A is to have a population of 100 SCP-XXXX-1 instances. Should its population exceed this, the excess is to be extracted without harming any instance removed and made into a secondary population off-site. The secondary population is to have livestock introduced to it until the genetic variance between the two populations is greater than 0.001%. Upon reaching this threshold, the secondary population is to be neutralized and incinerated.

Experimentation involving the introduction of subjects into affected populations is not to be done with the primary affected population under any circumstance. Any such experiment requires approval by level 4 personnel or above and must only use a population gathered for this purpose. The instance must be held at its own site and must be neutralized and incinerated after the completion of the experiment.

Personnel are not to communicate with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 outside of testing and interviews approved by level 3 personnel or above. Personnel are to politely decline any invitations given by instances of SCP-XXXX-1-A to dinner, supper, or other meal that could be expected to be held in the afternoon except during experimentation. Personnel are not to enter the containment chamber of any affected populations during a Feast Event under any circumstance.

All sites containing populations affected by SCP-XXXX must be equipped with an on-site nuclear warhead. Should site security prove ineffective against any containment breach the device is to be detonated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a genetic anomaly which affects preexisting populations of non-anomalous humans and livestock. Any individual that has been part of a completed Feast Event at any point is considered an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 or 2 and a population that has had a shared Feast Event is considered to be an affected population. DNA analysis of affected populations show that the genetic structure of all SCP-XXXX-1 instances in the population is nearly identical, variance not exceeding a thousandth of a percent. The genetic structure of affected populations typically have traces of genus bovidae, sus, ovis aries, and hominidae as well as various as of yet unidentified genes. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are fully genetically integrated into the affected population whereas instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are not. If an individual within an affected population has a genetic variance from the population greater than a thousandth of a percent, it is considered an SCP-XXXX-2 instance.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-A are visually indistinguishable from non-anomalous humans, and display apparent signs of sapience. SCP-XXXX-A typically behave amiably, often attempting to befriend members of personnel while interacting with them. SCP-XXXX-A instances are incapable of feeling pain or distinguishing events that would typically be disturbing or traumatic from normalcy. They will treat dangerous and life-threatening phenomena with little regard, even while experiencing significant bodily harm.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-B are visually indistinguishable from non-anomalous livestock of the species genus bovidae, sus, and ovis aries. Due to their interchangeable function within affected populations, the different species are not distinguished between on documentation unless doing so is pertinent. SCP-XXXX-B instances display no abnormal behavior except during a Feast Event where they become docile and do not respond to painful stimuli.

SCP-XXXX-1-A instances abide by strict ritual behavior. These behaviors are religious in nature. All known instances of SCP-XXXX-1-A follow identical religious doctrines, which are suspected to be a result of the genetic anomaly itself as these doctrines exist even in populations with negligible contact with other affected populations and with no shared language.
