Image of the anomalous roll of Flex Tape™.
Item #: SCP-XXXX-J
Object Class: Safe Explained
Special Containment Procedures:
Pre EX: As the anomaly currently poses no threat to people interacting with it so long as the tape is not used, simply keeping the anomaly in a glass case works fine.
Dr. Phil █████ "Its just a normal damn roll of Flex Tape™ what do you want from me? It's not even alive its just a roll of really damn good tape its hardly going to do anything."
Post EX: As the previously thought to be anomalous properties have turned out to be nothing more than an extravagant display of masterful engineering and chemistry from the team at Flex Seal™, the roll of tape has simply been returned to the [REDACTED] store from where it was initially acquired. No further containment efforts are necessary.
Dr. Phil █████ "What did I tell you? Oh my god you people never listen to me. Like I said the tape is just really good."

Description:
SCP-XXXX-J was initially discovered in a local branded warehouse type superstore during a routine sweep of [REDACTED] in New Zealand's south island for anomalous objects. The SCP in question was a roll of adhesive tape produced under the Flex Seal™ brand, referred to as Flex Tape™ Initial testing with the SCP proved it to have unimaginable adhesive and weather/water resistant properties thought to be a result of an anomalous effect produced by the tape.
Dr. ████ is quoted as saying the following during initial testing procedures> "There's quite literally no way something can be this adhesive and durable to the point of nigh invulnerability without being anomalous. Its impossible"
However later testing with other Flex Seal™ branded adhesive tapes and sealants proved to show that SCP-XXXX-J was no more anomalous than a standard roll of Flex Tape™ or their other branded adhesive products. This has caused the class of the SCP to be changed from Safe to Explained pending the proper paper work and authorization.
No further research or containment efforts necessary.
