SUBJ: Performance Review: SCP-103 (Agent Iris Thompson)"As per our discussion prior to the Greenburg mission, I have completed my performance evaluation of Agent Thompson as an MTF commander. My full review is attached to this email, but I would like to highlight several points. Overall, Agent Thompson performed extremely well, displaying competence and strong decision making throughout the mission. I have reviewed several other notable Mobile Task Forces throughout my career and most did not perform as well as Alpha-9 on their first mission.
However, a few points of concern have been brought up. When handling potentially hazardous anomalies, Agent Thompson tends towards unsafe and incautious behavior. During the breach of the basement, she disregarded a potentially anomalous hazard, choosing a diplomatic solution using information recovered from Greenburg's file. While successful in this situation, de-escalation techniques alone are not a common or safe method for securing potential humanoids. This may be indicative of a pre-existing tendency due to Agent Thompson herself being anomalous. In addition, injuries sustained by Agent Davis may have been prevented by more cautious action around unknown entities. I have already discussed these with Agent Thompson and believe she understands the potential hazards of this behavior.

SUBJ: MTF Alpha-9 ("Last Hope") Mission AssignmentDirector,
I have reviewed the performance reviews and post-mission summary for Alpha-9's first mission. Attached is documentation for a retrieval mission for a known anomalous individual currently being held by the GOC in a secure temporary storage facility. Alpha-9 will secure and contain this anomaly for further testing. This is high priority due to time constraints. The anomaly is expected to be relocated or terminated within 2 to 3 days according to leaked GOC intelligence.

Iris carefully maintained the look of professional interest on her face before standing up. "I see what you mean. In the future I'll be more suspicious of people we encounter when deployed. I guess I just didn't assume a ten year old could be dangerous. It won't happen again."
Agent Jiang nodded from behind his cluttered desk. "Excellent. I'm glad you understand, and don't let issues like that get you down. You performed very well for your first stint as an MTF commander. Good work, Iris."
Iris nodded and turned to leave. For a senior agent, Jiang's office was oddly small and austere, stuffed with filing cabinets and remarkably few personal mementos. Dotted around the room was wide-angle shots of task forces he had evaluated or trained. A small disk engraved with "B-7" set on display on his desk, mixed in with stuffed files labelled with other task force names. Iris opened the door and paused before stepping out, then turned and asked, "Jiang, if you don't mind me asking, are you still going to be doing MTF evaluations?"
He shrugged. "Most likely. It has gotten stale, though. I was considering putting in for a transfer to Alpha-9 as a permanent task force member. Director Light mentioned she would approve of that transfer when I met with her before the Greenburg mission."
"I'm glad you were with us on that. You would be more than welcome. Have a good day, Christopher." Iris said, before stepping outside and closing the door.
As soon as the door shut, the tangled knot in Iris's stomach finally unwound and she breathed a large sigh of relief. In Omega-7, performance reviews were nonexistent for the "rank and file". Even though she knew the mission was a success, it still was an anxious thing to sit and have someone pick apart your every decision. The stories Andrea had told to her, about "Senior Task Force Wrecker Jiang" and his legendary evaluations certainly didn't help.
She had done well, though! Only minor gripes about how she handled the little boy, and that sort of situation was very unlikely to happen again. Iris set off down the halls towards the offices and rooms assigned to Alpha-9, an almost visible spring in her step.
Andrea was in a fine mood. While not "officially" a member of Alpha-9, adjunct MTF members were welcomed. She had taken to spending more time around the growing task force than in the office with Clef. She was sitting on a couch in the MTF common room, skimming over the paperwork which had been sent to her while three men (all of whom had ) played pool across the room. Iris walked in and Andrea fixed the girl with a stare, causing Iris to stop, careful hesitation on her face.
Andrea flipped the packet and tapped the cover page, emblazoned with the Alpha-9 logo and "PERFORMANCE REVIEW - AGENT IRIS THOMPSON". Still with her stony expression locked in place, she said "I've been reading."
"Is that the full review?" Iris asked warily, unconsciously poised to retreat towards the door she had just walked in from.
"Yes."
The three task force agents kept glancing between the two women, their game forgotten for the moment.
"And?"
Andrea's face finally broke into a wide grin. "How did you do it? Did you bribe him? I've known Jiang to tear veteran task forces apart for the smallest detail, and you got away with 'Be careful around people'?"
Iris straightened and relaxed while Andrea continued, "We should celebrate this! It's not every day you get the closest thing to straight praise from the hardest ass in the MTF division."
The memory of the last 'celebration' Andrea had planned was still fresh in Iris' mind. She winced, but walked over and sat down next to Andrea. She had to sit on the arms thanks to the way Andrea managed to sprawl over a seat meant for four. "Thank you. Can I read it?"
Andrea swiftly moved it out of reach. "Nope. Top secret. Only the highest clearance gets this."
"So how did you get it?"
"A girl has to have her secrets."

- Duration of Deployment: 2300 hours 5-12-2███ through 0100 hours (2 Hours).
- Mission Directives: To investigate reports of an anomalous reality bender and secure if necessary.
- Scope of Operations: Breach security at incident location, investigate area for anomalous reality bender, secure and contain reality bender, and confiscate intelligence on other anomalous activity if discovered.
FORCE COMPOSITION
Mobile Task Force Beta-5 ("Babysitters") is a platoon-level Task Force consisting of forty-two (42) operators, including the Task Force commander and executive officer. The force consists of five (5) squads, numbered One through Five.
Majority of team casualties, rest injuries, subject neutralized
During this deployment, two additional personnel (SCP-105 and Agent Adams) were present as observers, bringing the number of personnel participating in this operation to forty-four (44).
INITIAL DEPLOYMENT
MTF Beta-5 was transported to the operations area in ten vans marked with the livery of the Foundation cover organization "Species Conservation Project" (a conservation and ecological survey group). MTF Beta-5 was handed over command of the operation at 0600 hours.
Post-Mission Analysis
Aside from the unexpected alterations to SCP-008's capabilities, the operation was a perfect example of superior tactics and flexibility winning out over an opposing force with superior numbers. All members of Mobile Task Force Beta-5 performed admirably, with individual commendations listed in the detailed appendix to this report.
"SCP-103 has been suspended from MTF pending psychological evaluation."
